Alright, I'm officially the Cookie Monster. It might have taken me two days but it was worth it to get my name on an internet leaderboard that no one is going to look at.
I played this game when it came out and got all the badges on the same day. I don't know what you guys are complaining about so I'll just assume you're bad at the game and don't want to spend the time to get good at it before complaining that's it's too hard.
Why would you cut out a fast forward feature because some people couldn't use it? It was fully functioning and you didn't include something that was COMPLETELY OPTIONAL because half of the audience couldn't use it. Thanks, friend, your decision isn't wasting my time or anything.
How the hell...I remember playing this years ago and I could never get the 4000 shape medium badge, and then I come here and get it first try with 500 shapes to spare. Jesus.
This game is great, I'm having more fun than I would in CoD because of the seriously responsive controls, absolute awesome map layouts (Bay5 especially, that place is just pure liquid jesus), and other assorted features.
Everyone not getting the achievement, just report it missing. If enough of you do it, it'll get fixed for the future players. Also, you'll get the badge within 24 hours most times.
A medium badge doesn't accurately represent the difficulty and length of the game. I see games with three or four hour medium badges and see this and cry because of the inequity.
Game: 5/5
There's something to be said when I can just spam elf militia at 2x speed and get the achievements in literally ten minutes. I played more and then got destroyed later using the same tactic. I don't know what's going on and the unit control is horrible. I don't know man, I don't know.
All I needed to beat every level in the game: Terraforming + Fire Column
Just focus on building your empire for five minutes, and then when you see that you've got a substantial lead on your opponent, set them to conquer and go to work setting the enemy's furthest cities ablaze. You win everything forever.
This game is stupid. It takes no intelligence or skill to beat this game, and only exists to award badge hunters with 15 points. By the way, the badge is broken. I beat the game and it didn't give the badge to me, and then when I tried to replay it the game glitched and stuck me in the well without giving me a retry option. 1/5 to balance out so many undeserved 5's.
Yeah, the game is clean and polished and the mechanics work, but it's not fun. There's no depth. I found myself just trying to click through battles as fast as possible to grind up WP for the next ship class so I could move on. There was no challenge, even using regular ammo and ending the game with a million gold.
If you are saying that philosophy is about debating more abstract ideas, you should get further in the game. =P
