You aren't allowed to have any mistakes. ANY mistakes. Even if you're just dicking around in the beginning of the song, pressing random notes before the music starts, you can't get a perfect. You can hit every note correctly, press no extra note, and fill the holds all the way to the end, but if that MISTAKES counter hits 1, no perfect for you.

More comments because I have no life. It seems when you alter the color wheel, the screen goes to gray and then there isn't any color for boss countdown/upgrade things etc. Also, can you please add more upgrades, such as fire rate/accuracy, etc? I know this may take a WHILE, but I'm 99.999997547375986983314159265358979323846264338327950288419716% positive it'll go over nicely.

I figured what you meant with the color thing and will take some minutes to fix it, actually I'm sure, the color wheel will be fixed ( on the local files, so not on Kongregate ) before you read this comment, more upgrades coming soon ( if I finally feel like it ).
Also, are you experiencing any kind of lag or frame drops? because that's the reason I'm afraid of adding more things.

It seems that your hitbox gets smaller as you fire. Also, why is the currency chocolate? You're buying stuff from a cat. Cats can't eat chocolate, right? Right?!
about the hitbox part, I can only say : it's probably your imagination o.o and for the chocolate/cat part, chocolate contains theobromine which cats can't digest, so no, cats can't eat chocolate. (but who says he isn't selling them ?)
