incomplete game.
Missing several important elements, such as pause feature, in game mute toggles for sound or music, ammunition counter for missiles, promised upgrades. The controls are clunky and need tuning.
The in game sounds of explosions and bullets all clash with eachother, which can get horribly annoying very quickly.
Might also suggest shrinking the size of all the game sprites by 50% to make it look not so "zoomed in", and actually giving a sense of depth, while allowing wider movement for the player.
May even want to add in some special moves such as dodging, or even turn flourishes when moving up and down the screen, engine glowing when moving forward and dimming when moving back.. simple touches like that can go a long way.
Giving this a 3/5 because it needs some SERIOUS improvement, but i look forward to it being completed, as it may yet turn out to be a great game.
Really unpolished, but i agree with cyrus' comment that it is deceptively fun. It is also simple and straightforward in it's approach, the sounds arent overpowering or offensively loud, and the controls are extremely simple.
4/5 because it doesnt try to sell itself as anything other than a simple timewaster.
dear lord, the sound is atrocious. You really need to fix the sound layering, or at least have the firing sounds ease in and out so that they dont brutally overlay eachother per shot. Maybe soften them a little too so they arent overbearing.
The gameplay is rather simple, but i guess that is what you were going for.
Please PLEASE include a mute button for both sounds and music. Maybe a menu or intro screen to make it interesting.
Also.. weezer? You couldnt come up with anything better?
3/5 because it could be a fun game if more effort went into it, rather than it being a "while we're making something else, here's a half arsed game for you to play". Either stop working on your other project and make this game properly, or just dont bother in the future, guys.
I will just repost what i put for "addition entertainment", because its the same thing, only with multiplication. Its an ok calculator (i say that because it isnt a game, just straight out maths equations), but entirely not worth having made on flash. My advice is if you want to make it more fun, or at least appealing to children, make it more interesting graphically, and maybe give options instead of a text box for the answers (e.g. for "2 x 2 =", have different answers to pick from). It would also benefit from some music or sounds as jesse7797 stated. You should also release all the calculators together, and just have them switch over by clicking the respective operator at the top of the screen (addition sums by clicking the + sign, multiplication by clicking the purple X, etc). You could make a neat little flash game for young children if you tried hard enough, but as it is, its not very good. 2/5
im guessing you just figured out how to print calculations or something.

that it took five days for you to make this shows.
1/5. Terrible interface, music only exists as a means to break up the monotony of movingb your mouse over blocks to answer questions. About the only good part is that if you get a question wrong (and you will, especially if you slip your mouse or something), then it goes back to the previous, rather than start again.. however, most quizzes simply tell you that you got it wrong, and let you go again.
No volume controls, very VERY basic graphical representation. Didnt even pick a good song (sorry, but i'm not a disturbed fan, just preference and i'm writing this review :P).
Im fairly certain no testing or QC went into this. If this had been your first game it might have been excusable, but i doubt it is.
pretty sensitive pixel hunts going on, and no mouseover indications that something might be there. You have promise as an escape game creator, but you need to put in a considerable effort to get a decent game happening. Play other escape games, and take notes of the kind of stuff they offer, and that make them fun and good, and use that to improve upon your game style. So far, 2/5. A good first effort, but you have a long way to go :)
As a general rule, you should never really post your first game or anything online, unless you are 100% sure it is going to be well received.
That said, you have a basic command of flash, and given time, i'm sure you will come up with something great.
Keep at it, and good luck.
absolutely terrible. Game over-sells itsself in the description/instructions.
Loading screen is uninteresting, with the only two things to look at are the loading bar and the advertising. On top of that it makes you wait for 8 seconds for aparrently NO reason, other than to make sure you saw the ad. There are also ads during gameplay. Did i mention there were ads everywhere?
The controls are atrocious and often sticky , the lack of soundtrack and limited game sounds makes it bland to play. All in all, 1/5 for a game that tries to bandwagon an already saturated game type (stunt dirtbikes are nothing new), and comes out with a worse clone than the originals.
not a bad little game this. Could do with a health recharge or two (maybe an option to use those extra crystals one picks up but cant use?)
4/5 but could be 5/5 if it was playtested and support added for less hardcore gamers (health, as mentioned above)
Not bad.. fairly challenging game, especially due to the learning curve to begin with. Once you get going however it's not too bad.
Could have used a touch more playtesting and tweaking before release. 3/5
Not bad, fairly easy and intuitive. I like the challenge with the riddles.
The music needs to be softer, as it can be distracting, and it would appear that the entire outro is missing, or doesnt exist.. not even so much as a "replay" button or credits.
All in all not bad for its simplicity. Would like to see a slightly longer one in a sequel if possible. 4/5
Pretty good. Has the potential to be great, but there needs to be some balancing. A playfield boundary indicator would be a good thing to have, as well as either less choice in upgrades, or money drops increasing as difficulty ramps up. Also, the BGM could do with being a little softer, maybe a volume control if possible.
4/5.
puzzle isnt very intuitive or complex.. you can basically win by just clicking everything over and over.
looks nice. music is highly annoying after a few repeats. 2/5 at most.
agree with uncrustables. Also, in addition a few things that need improving: crosshair visibility.. make it thicker or have an outline or SOMETHING so its visible in every stage. Also, When you get hit and go invisible, its often hard to find where you are, and i found myself a few times sitting in the middle of a cluster of enemies because of it. As far as weapons go, the melee was more of a gimmick than a viable option, so you may want to just have a melee option as standard, rather than waste valuable money on it, as a free monotony breaker in early levels. Overall not bad, but not fantastic. 3/5
