@Hoju: For the Gingerhaired Men I've found its best to make sure you deck has quite a few cards with low attack so you don't screw yourself over every time they play Sweet Revenge. Cards with low attack that also do other things are the best solution, like Endure or Slow Burn. Make sure the attack isn't 0, as if it is, the next attack you play will make you lose cards. Sweet Revenge is OP like that. I however did find this wasn't enough of a solution against the Mad Confectionist and was totally unable to beat him until I added cards as OP as he was to my deck in the form of a Finishing Blow and 2 Diamonoids. (Considering his frequeny of playing Jaw Breaker, I wouldn't count on allies too much thou.) Keep facing him until you get lucky and he doesn't draw the card version of himself any time other than early game, as if he does you automaticly lose. You only have to beat him once, and that's why.
If the Mad Confectionist draws the card version of himself late game, its an automatic win for him. How is that fair? Am I suppose to completly recontruct my deck to only include cards (that I don't have) that banish instead of deplete? There is simply no way for me to live after that much late game damage...
@rei ayanami: You're viewing the situation incorrectly. Your opponent may keep paying albino croc regardless, but you have 2 other cards in your hand. Ties do not exsist. If playing either of the two cards would allow you to win, you have won. If niether of the 2 cards would allow you to win (As I suspect is the case in your situation) then this is not a tie. You have lost. Accept it, move on, and try again.
No one just playing for the badges will get this comment, but for anyone actually experienced out there: I've reached the awkward point were buying the $5k booster packs no longer improves my deck. Of the last 3 packs I opened, I've changed 2 cards in my deck to cards that were *barely* better. Is it worth it to continue playing this game knowing I'm not really striving for improvement anymore? Or have others found hitting this wall ruins the fun too much to keep playing?
@tryhardtom Your story is very unfortunate, but not unexpected. With 135k registered members, a lot of people have bought multiple master packs as you have. With that many people, statisticaly speaking, its fairly likly at least a few people will get screwed over and all of the packs they open have the same bad rare; the same way a few people will get very lucky and open multiple packs with the same awesome rare. The current chances they have set up are fine, you're simply the unfortunate victim of the law of large numbers.
Also, there were a few occasions were the ball took forever to come to stop because it was rolling very slowly down a not steep hill. In a game thats timed like this, either have that time be spent rolling a distance that matters, or have it stop. Waiting an extra 5 seconds to see the ball move 5 feet away is annoying and not needed.
The game really should pause when you zoom out to look at the whole map. Otherwise there are quite a few shots you have to take blind and hope you dont get an unlucky bounce or waste precious time opening up the map. I feel this is not a choice I should I have to make.
There's a flaw in the programming for this game. Whilst playing against Cautious, he rolled 3 twos, and just kept trying to bank the 200 points. A notice popped up every time, saying you must have 300 points to bank, yet the AI refused to roll again... I had to quit a game I was about to win, because after waiting for 5 min, the AI was STILL trying to bank the 200 points.
Ignoring all the odvious flaws that have already been posted, I'm going to pick out a minor flaw that doesn't actually matter, but still *really* annoyed me. When I work my ass off to make an awesome 9 hit combo, the reason for this is that I want to SEE the awesome 9 hit combo!!! Its really disheartening to see him stop with attack 5 simply because the enemy ran out of health. I feel like this would be simple to fix, and highly reccomend doing so in any future games that resemble this.
NOTE: Despite what the Kongregate badge says, you have to get OVER 90 feet. Upon getting a score of 90 exactly and not being awarded the badge, I checked the in-game medals confused. It tells you there it has to be over 90. There really should be a "more than" between the word yourself and the number 90 in the Kongregate badge description >_>
This is by far the most infuriating game I've ever played. I can't count how many times I thought I'd finally beaten a level only to get spotted at the last second while I'm sprinting to the exit, or get trapped in a corner and forced to run out of invisibility 10 feet from winning... and yet I can't stop playing. If thats not a sign of an awesome game, I don't know what is.
I can do a max of 50 damage in a turn. Waizer heals if he gets below 100... I poured hours into this game only to find the final boss unbeatable with a strategy that worked great on every match before it... What part of this is fair? >_>
I feel this game has too much of a luck factor to be fun. About thirty time now I have been safe in a gap in the middle of the screen. In order to get to the next gap in time, I start scanning on the right or left side of the screen for the next gap, only to find that both of the new gaps are on the side I didn't start scanning on. I start moving ASAP, but still find the screen closing just before I enter the new gap when this scenario occurs. I'd *like to* think I'm decent at this game, so for this to be happening this often before I even get to level twenty, makes me not a fan of this game.
So I made the best tank ever. If you don't believe me try it yourself and see. This exploits an error in the programming, and makes it incredibly easy to beat every level. Go to the edit tank screen and drag a large buble so it goes into the class 5 size. Then attach as many auto cannons as you can. When your in combat, the enemies will assume your tank is huge target where the center of a class 5 tank should be... but you'll have no bubble there! 80% of their bullets will miss horribly if you just stay still. The auto cannons will target things regardless of if you can see them or not, so there are no worries. Pretty much sit back and enjoy the easy win.
This game is horrible... You could be the best deck maker in the world, and it still is 80% dumb luck...
Also on three seperate occasions, people I challenged left right before I was about to beat them....
Thus not giving me credit for the win...
people suck, this game is lame.
sigh...
I beat this game on mofunzone...
the whole game....
it took like 20 hours.....
...
i don't wanna do it again but I need the points....
waaaaahhhhh :'(
