I'm not sure I can keep playing this game. I feel like the entire campaign is going to be missile drones and pulse waves. I can't get any ships in close. Too damn frustrating.
Seriously though... Regeneration is bullcrap. I've been grinding at the tournament so I can finally defeat the tribe leader. This is taking me forever. And abilities are b.s. It's better to train straight strength and crit damage.
Too many peeves. Coins from chests never stop bouncing, throwing the tetrapod is the best form of combat, coins being health isn't very useful since they're never in high combat areas, controls are sometimes unresponsive (on multiple occasions, i would try to kick and the delay would make the game believe i was trying to use my wrench), the tetrapod will often fall behind and I just don't care enough to go back to fetch it, climbing walls is possible by repeatedly jumping and then wall running against a single wall, bounces are ridiculous (in the bear arena, i defeated the buzzsaw guards by getting them in a position where they would peel the tetrapod, throw it, and then have it hit a wall, only to bounce right back onto their face), archer kicks often sent me into deathtraps like spikes, ... too many little things add up to 3/5
This is ridiculous. My guns only seem to hit when I'm not actually aimed on top of the enemy. When I'm being shot, it's as if my guns do no damage. The pistol is so far the best gun I've used. The game needs a lot of work done to it.
Too short. Too simple. Too few upgrades. Too stupid of a story. I often destroy a civilian far ahead with my shockwave while the racer next to me is unharmed. Losing all of my energy from bumping when I boost is enough to make me never boost again. 2/5
