Thanks and no doubt about that. All my games will be prototypes so I'm mostly focused on innovating on gameplay concepts and seeing if they work rather than total polish like sound and stuff. I absolutely will put in that kind of polish in a full version though!
I like light bot 1.0 better. In light bot 1.0, you could clear most levels without useless moves, while in light bot 2.0 it seems that most levels have useless moves that can't be eliminated.
The last two levels can be done without using color tiles or loops. Just put the most used commands into f1 then combine a few f1s with other commands into f2, using f1 f2 and basic commands the level can be cleared. Not sure if it is the optimal methods though. Actually I don't know if it can be done with loops or color tiles.
As I said in the last comment, berserk does more harm than good, especially at the solo arena and boss battles, so it should be cureble by certain items/spells. Also there should be equipments that offer immune to berserk, and a skill that grants immune to berserk. A fairy that grants "auto berserk" sounds like a cursed item, while the other 4 are great items to equip at the solo arena or at boss battles. it should be "immune to berserk",maybe also provide immunity to some other negative status effects, so that it is actulally a good item on par with the other 4. One last thing, the enemy will berserk your heroes but certainly not put haste/regen/shield/m.shield on your heroes, this once again proves that berserk is and should be treated as a negative status effect.
How is berserk a "positive" status effect? It is actually the worst status effect since you can't cure them, the only "cure" is to let the victim die. At the solo arena, it is almost a guaranted defeat if you get berserked by the enemy, since they often have elements that makes your normal attack heals them, or deals 0 damage. Berserk from the enemy at the solo arena is almost a 1 hit kill that is completely unfair unless you know how to deal them before hand. Another situation where berserk is extermely bad is during boss battles, if the enemy berserked your healer/supporter you can't heal, cast null spells or use items as planned, and any other positive status effect (haste/regen/shield/m.shield)already on that character is wasted since only death can "cure" the victim. Or the victim might be a melee DPS that unfortunately heals the boss by normal attacks, which is also very frustrating.
Why do the shops still sells greatswords when no one in your party is able to equip them? Could be lazy to change the shops but in aeropolis there are new type of greatswords that no one is able to equip.
After picking up the sword and pressed space, while navigating the menus, suddenly all the keys stoped working(arrow keys and space), but the game didn't froze since Q for quality still works. I refreshed the page and the game start from a checkpoint rather than the start. I think I missed a cinematic or something. This is a major bug
You said in the tutorial the starting weapon and armor is good enough for the first few fights, yet during the first trip, I was attacked by a group of bad guys and don't stand a chance. Such horrible game balance. You make me lose the first fight, and I give you a 1/5. Seems fair for me.
One of the design flaws: when playing as sparta, the last defensive building costs more than 10M prodution points and has a upkeep cost so high that almost cancels out the wonder gold income 500k per turn. Yet all it does is increase defense by 30 percent. This thing is completely useless, successfully building it probably is harder than winning the game.
I did it, hard difficulty sparta brilliant victory. It isn't really that hard, you just need some luck with events. Perhaps the only flaw during my playthrough is I chose to surrender to the persians when they first invaded. My current record is 109 turns.
So who really is the bad guy? The ancient or the emerald princess? Or it changes depend on who you trust? I chose to trust the ancient and it says happy ending. If you don't trust the ancient, did the ancient stays a bad guy, and it also says "happy ending"?
Z for cancel and X for confirm is really a pain for me, since there are lots of games where Z is confirm while X is cancel(for example the medival cops series, the tales of nebezem series)
Well, since dregg only changed his clothes but not his voice, I thought everyone already knows he is a guy. Lila discovered this when she first met dregg(she said, "why don't they send a female officer?") I assume dregg is using his original voice most of the time. Also Grim said dregg is around 30 already, hard to mistake the sound of a 30 year old man for a woman. You also have to talk with everyone during the investigation, so logically everyone should know dregg is a man by then. Current plot is funny but this looks like a major plot hole for me(I'd still rate the game 5 stars though)
I'd like to see dregg(or someone else) solves the case with evidence and logic rather than referring to some ghost things. If you could talk to ghosts, why don't just summon the victim ghost? He'd tell us Who killed him in no time and the case will be solved instantly.
