So I wrote out this big list of bugs and how to reproduce them, and then I got to the end and realized you won't be updating it anyway : /. Regardless, this truly is an amazing game, the combat is funand the storyline is engaging, and its got a ton of little nuances that make an RPG great, fishing mini games, mushroom collecting, lore books. The atmosphere of the game is awesome, I love the art, the story and the music. The gameplay itself was unique and engaging, though I didn't really see much of a reason to counter or use Caleb, I didn't find magic attacks as much fun as physical ones. Really great game here, left me wanting more. 5/5 would be on par with Sonny if it were finished.
Thank you very much!
As for the bugs, I would still want to hear about them. I do actually update the game sometimes because I want it to work, incomplete as it may be.
This could be a cool game in the future, as it stands it's lacking a lot. Especially the raid AI, its unbearable to watch them try to win. All you need is a few simple clauses to make the raiders not completely terrible. For example: if the healer is taking damage, nearby DPS need to switch targets to the enemy damaging the healer; prioritize healing raiders who are currently taking damage before the others; if there is only one enemy, heal the raider that enemy is attacking. Those two simple things would making watching them raid less of a constant face-palm. Whats the point of tank/healer roles if they aren't even going to abuse that dynamic?
My battle power + physical power / 4 + creating power / 2 is 11.4 while the first gods power level / 4.2 = 6.3 and I'm still not doing any damage to it.
Its ok. Ship construction is kinda fun, but the interaction in levels is boring, its more of a planning game than an interaction game. And whoever decided that games where you plan a base and then wait while it interacts with the world for you should auto-pause on exit really doesn't understand how people play these games. The game would be better if there were more gameplay other than ship planning, moving it back and fourth in the levels doesn't really do all that much. Please remove auto-pause, its not helpful at all. Overall nice concept but needs some work
You guys are incredible morons, the only similarities between this and spore is the ability to equip parts and the graphics style. Graphics has no effect on gameplay and plenty of other games have parts equipping. This is no more like spore than upgrade complete
Wow your programming is amazing! The collision is perfect, and the hair and levers are wonderfully done. I envy your mathematical and programatic skills. :)
