All I get when I try to load this game is a black screen that doesn't do anything.. Guess it's a good thing I already have 5 of the badges for this week?
Once you get the controls down, level 1 seems to be a pretty easy A-Rank. One comment got it in 28 seconds. I went back and did it in 24 on a redo on a far from flawless run. I suspect the time limit is 30 seconds and that it's doable in 20.
Whoever put a Papa's game as part of a quest needs to be drawn and quartered, though at least this seems to be one of the easier ones. The Topping station is a disaster, but it's pretty easy to get 100 on the other 3.
I couldn't even get the easy badge in the third game of this series and barely got it for the fourth. The level of motor control required to do anything is too significant for most people. Good thing I picked up the Shiny on Friday.
Put all level up points into strength, and max student (20 points) right away. Next get a few points of gold up (you'll get stuck at a wall midgame and have to grind for gold to upgrade your weapon otherwise), and put the rest into whatever weapon you want to use, lastly putting into it's subskill. A fair warning: The game is much longer grind than the progress indicator will make you think early. All this game really needs most is to have every enemy have it's hp cut to 1/3 of it's original value and it would flow so much better.
I put my first points into attack, immediately found out how overpowered Skadoosh is, and put every point thereafter also into attack. Murdered everything in the game with it without a problem. Used the crystal skull ninja equipment as soon as I got them for more attack and some movement speed. Kite the final boss on a vertical line and just hit him with it when he gets to you. Repeat until dead.
Mage with maxed earth/magic/dodge, priest with maxed holy/magic/dodge, knight with maxed defense/1hweapon/leadership runs Vorag over well enough. Vorag himself is actually rather easy... There's fights in the game that are more dangerous than he is, especially the ice dragon (Which I never actually killed). Get Salto (1 point in dodge) on your casters by level 3, as it makes a dramatic increase in their survivability. Also, I used a genie to create a +45% vampirism super weapon for my 1 hander that I used for the rest of the game. With a good shield and regen global magic, it made for one hell of a meatshield along with the earth elemental. Repeat for emphasis: Salto is your best friend early on. Get it on your casters by level 3 at the absolute latest.
If you can get out of the 3-1 and 3-2 with the bandages (and later, just surviving 4-3), you can get the impossible badge. Most mid and late tier 3 and tier 4 maps are actually pretty easy compared to their earliest counterparts. Some are so easy it's a wonder they're as late as they are.
Personally, I found the controls not to be an issue until area 2... And then they were an issue just about every map. Also, mute button would be wonderful let's second this. The medium badge is extremely easy though.
This game is absurdly forgiving to the point that I could actually do it. You can give people a burger someone else ordered, that isn't close to their order, and still get very high scores from them. I did this 2 or 3 times and the game didn't seem to care.
I managed to do extended (Magic, but I think I would've won that with science too) without a water tower and with only a level 1 potion factory. It feels absolutely mandatory to have a forest cross and a rock diamond, or you'll never have the early game production to keep up. I'd recommend just to keep regenerating the map until you get both formations close to your circle. It was honestly pretty easy once I waited for that kind of map.
Tough but fair game. The only level that required a retry was 19: Use an orbital strike almost immediately after your mines take out the first wave of tanks. All hell will still break loose afterwards, but you'll get a second orbital strike just in time to clean up with.
To get the easy badge quick, run quickmatch in 1-hit kill mode with automatic weapons on very easy against a few bots. It took me about 5 minutes overall to get the badge through borderline unplayable lag.
