I personally like the insanity towards endgame. I believe it fits with the over-the-top setting. However, I think the support upgrades should clarify what you are upgrading (frequency/strength/how long it lasts). Also, the big shield should mention colliding into barriers as being an exception.
I love this game, you have been getting better and better with each installment. The main thing that I have been having trouble with is that towards the end of the game, the shop becomes obsolete. I am constantly checking to see if there is better equipment, but there's practically nothing of use. I have been getting the upgrades to increase the quality/rarity of the items, and occaisionally the amount.
