23 years later:
"Honey?"
"Yes?"
"I'd like to tell you the secret to being rich"
"What is it?"
"First, kill rats until you have a small amount of money.
Then, when you have enough, buy a drone and load it up with rockets so that when you press a button it gets rid of anything following you"
"..."
It's worth noting that the different difficulties affect when foes first appear; on easier difficulties you won't have to worry about Ghosts and Frankenstiens for a short while. On Hell difficulty, they appear before the first boss. So while some of the same strategies work, you have to account for harder foes far far earlier.
Ah, Paladog. How long it has been. The game is fun, the artwork mildly nostalgic, the ability to judge stats...okay, that's not good. But in the end, the game has a brilliant morale: "If you have enough Rabbits stacked, you can do anything"
Okay, I have a question. I can understand laborious amounts of gold and coal, and also more wood than everything I have built weighs. But how the hell does this guy carry around a GROWN dragon?
I must say, this new update is amazing.
However, and I am almost certain you guys have planned this, but either the Food Seller or the Weapons Dealer should sell Cats AND Wolves.
So, I think I understand why we were supposed to bring a knife.
The Guards have fairly poor vision, but they are amazing at hearing things. They are like the Metal Gear Solid people: the minute you walk behind them they turn around and shoot your head off.
Why no Silencer? ...reasons...
There is a large pillar of stone next to the mountain, seems odd.
Anyways, I think I may have stumbled upon a bug. Normally, I take criticals once every now and then. But for some reason, with a shield equipped criticals (the only thing that makes it past a shield) go from like 5% to 30%. This may be luck, or there may be a positioning based thing (like if something is hit in the back it is more likely to be a critical), but it seems odd if the former.
I will tell you forbidden knowledge.
Okay, the forbidden is joking.
Typing in "givemefreedom" at the title screen does...
Something special.
I'll leave it at that.
Also, there are only 8 messages to get. Keep this, the jaw trick, and the fact that larger fish are found deeper in mind.
You know, the "Hey! Heroes! Leave us gems alone!" Line can work for most TDs.
BTD: "Hey! Bloons! Leave us Monkeys alone!" Incursion: "Hey! Monsters! Leave our lands alone!" Demons Vs. Fairyland: "Hey! Fairies! Leave our kids alone!" Okay...maybe not that last one.
A suggestion: It would be nice if we could "spare" the dragon by giving it 3 baby dragons, 5 gold, 5 quartz, and a single diamond. Also, having various levels of Bows and Arrows would make them actually useful. I don't want to make Ice Arrows because Yeti Fur and DIAMONDS are rare. However, I found that arrows are good to get Dragonblood from wyrms at low levels. So clarification: Iron Arrows (.75 weight, 2 damage but crit rate>steel), Steel Arrows (.5 weight, 2 damage) and maybe even diamond arrows (.75 weight, 3 damage, pierces one foe) and quartz arrows (.5 weight, 3 damage. Double damage to any future aquatic foes) and barbed (one iron, one steel) (.75 weight, 2 damage, pierces one foe). A further benefit would be having tipped arrows like the Ice arrow expanded upon; Red berries=Fire (Area attack), Purple Berries=Lightning (Pierce 2 foes,Double against Aquatic and Aerial) Fertilizer=Poison (Residual damage, strong against wild animals)
To be clear, are the new potions (speed, endurance, +hp +stamina) permanent? This is to say, if I imbibe 10 hp potions, will this boost only last for a short bit, will I come back on and see my Max reduced by 200, or will I forever have all 200 hp points added on?
When hit in the back, there's a 100% chance of a critical hit (this works for you and enemies - so definitely abuse hitting enemies from behind).
