The helicopter is nice for a bit of extra challenge, but isn't well implemented, since you can't see what you're doing when it shows up. Instead, maybe just show the helicopter is there by having the helicopter's shadow visible on the road. I don't know how many times I've died now because I've been jumping blind under that thing.
I'm enjoying the game, but the constant, unavoidable bandit attacks are starting to get annoying. Especially once they all start using guns, and you don't have time to recover from one attack before the next one hits you.
Ok I just noticed a little minor bug. It's only happened twice so far, but I figured I should let you know about it. I'll be on the travel map, and both times it's happened there's been a bandit group chasing me, but they'll be far away. Then I'll get the bandit attack message, and a fight will start. But as soon as I kill the first bandit, the fight is over and I get free loot.
Good game, with a few flaws.
First:As others have said, it's too short.
Second:the helicopter gunner level is fun, it's a nice change of pace, but it's a sudden change in gameplay. would work better if there were more of that type level.
Third: It would be nice if you could downgrade a unit instead of selling it. For example, say you bought a sniper, but you decide you want a machine gunner instead. As it is you have to sell the sniper off, then start all over building that unit up from the mp5 unit. It would be better I think if you could just reduce your sniper unit to m16, then advance him along the alternate path.
Finally: This one's just a thing I found annoying, rather than an actual complaint. The 'robin hood' achievement has an arrow through an apple for the icon. Shouldn't be an arrow splitting another arrow? Or call the achievement "William Tell"?
Those jumping werewolves are starting to piss me off. Them and the shotgun zombies. I'm trying to clean up a sector, I stop moving for a second, and next thing I know, 5 werewolves come flying in from off screen, all of them land right on top of me, and kill me before I have a chance to so much as defend myself.
