did you use the tutorial from flashgameu? I've been using that site too and it's pretty good for beginning like you and myself. But in the future, please don't submit these v0.5 games, they aren't very interesting for the general public. Show it off to friends and family. For now just focus on developing your skills so that you can make games that are worth playing. good luck!
Forgot to mention one thing. The option/info menu could be a little more noticeable. I didn't realize it my first time playing through. I noticed it the second time I played though.
Great retro style game. Visuals and sounds were amazing! Great pixel images. The only two things I would change is possibly add more diversity to the background image. I know that you don't want to the background image to be too distracting, but something simple and different could be nice to change it up a bit. Also, the music during the final boss could have a smoother loop instead of fading all the way out and then starting over again. Still an amazing game. I gave it a 5/5.
Great game! All of the visual aspects (character models, scenery, UI) were awesome. Only thing that prevented me from rating it a 5 instead of 4 was the way the games worked.
Two examples. For the zit game I kept clicking the same three zits that continuously appeared in the same locations every second. Also, the dog game seemed hit or miss. Either you kept clicking every time around while in the middle or the mouth wouldn't be open while lined up.
These didn't kill the game though, just kept it from being perfect. Great work! I look forward to future submissions.
This is one of the coolest games I've seen on Kongregate. I am a huge fan of microgames. I have no complaints. I made it to 4.8x So close! Thanks for the awesome game. Would like to see another one like this.
