I have an idea with what skreech is saying, just move the dodge command to the up arrow, and have down as a "break dance" type kick, just to knock them back a bit, not knock them down, cuz then people would just do that the entire match.
the only possible thing I could wish for is in-air-combos, or at least air moves, I love the feel of punching someone into the air, then jumping up, and smacking them back down!!!

The reason the music doesn't seem to be synched right is because of all our slow computer's..(note to self: get a freakin' intel mac bursting at the seems with gigahertz of power and speed (note to self: learn what gigahertz means...))Still, if all our computers were perfect, then this game would be absolutely amazing! I have no doubt that this is as good or better than games like DDR (minus the graphics and sparklies). 5/5, good job Shinki!
Its too complicated for the lack of precision. There aren't any numbers to base your shots off of. If you keep your mouse in the same place between shots, the shot won't end up were it did before, so there is entirely too much luck involved.
I don't like it so much, but its cool that it was for a course, I'd like to learn some stuff about making games actually, but I don't really know where to start. eh, 2nd?!

I give it a 3/5, great physics obviously, but like "mrbullwinkle" said, it needs some power-ups, or upgrades. I'll have to check w0ne 2 n' see if its any good =)
The music was good, and so were the physics, but for the most part the game isn't that great, no exciting graphics, or even more than 3 colors (not including shades/shadows...)in the game. also, its just not exciting, I might go to say balance balls II is better... but still, it has a badge, so I guess its not so bad. anyways, 3/5.
