You can create a second square by clicking anywhere on the retry screen. All of the squares just pass through it though.

You guys aren't the brightest bunch. If you would have payed any attention you would have noticed this is a tutorial. The title evens says it is. The updates fixed all the bugs that I know of, I was just able to beat the game with no problem. You should set up some API to record the time.
