hmm, is this game saying there is life on other planets and they are investing here on earth? I have the entire population of the planet invested in my company some million times over.
great game and a huge time sink. Cranking out an undecillion a minute and cant even afford newspaper delivery # 601 yet. how long it will take to get all achievements without spending actual money is anybody's guess.
I need to hire more people that are like the shopkeep. armorer:'I need an anvil!' sorceress:'I need a better cauldron!' shopkeep: 'Please I forge armor, make clothing and rings, potions you name it and all I need is a table, quit your whining.'
[Cleric] I would like a scroll of great power
[Shopkeep] Sorry we are all out of those, but I do have this fine robe, it has been sitting on my shelf for a few months now and I offer it to you today. It is the only one I have.
[Cleric] Well not what I was looking for but I will give it a try.
[Illusionist] OH, that looks great on you, I will take one also.
[Shopkeep] Sorry it is the only one I have, it takes my artisan an exceptional amount of time to create. I have in fact offered you this robe several times but all you do is complain that my shop full of fine magical armor and weapons does not have the shelfspace for run of the mill clubs.
[Bard] I want one of those robes.
[Shopkeep] that was my only one, tell you what if you both come back in a few days I will recall my craftsman from her extended vacation in the tavern and have her make some for you.
[Illusionist] No. Tomorrow I plan to go back to complaining that you don't carry clubs.
Felt like I was playing some sort of Ice-Capades RPG. The enemies have no ability at all to hit a moving target so you sort of slide around them in a circle and kill them at you leisure. You get a ton of potions that you never need to even use, aside from the sarcophagi which might get a hit or two in on you the challenge is minimal. Did start on the normal game and it was just far far far to easy.
@dograncher: you are matched up by the champions glory, not their level. I do suggest that when you get matched up way over your head that you get like 5 glory just for the attempt.
The arena is working far better, the only issue I have run into is the stuck at 0% loading a battle now, which was there before the arena was launched. All in all things have improved quite a bit, was able to do about 10-15 matches in a row without issue.
error 1009 and 2000 flash dispatcher issues. now stuck at 10/9 in the arena should have collected by now but can't. game freezes constantly. How was something like this not caught by QA before release
The raid tournament each week certainly seems stacked in favor of those already at the top. the 1k gold and raid potions let them get in more raids and thus stay atop the list. Over a set 10 points would like to see the value fluctuate according to the difference between you and your opponent. I went quite a long time where my opponent was always at least 4 levels ahead of me.
had to let them kill me, with no reload etc all you do is spam shots and kill guys off before they get about an inch onto the screen. stronger enemies should not always mean more hits fast enemies, enemies that shield others etc would be nice. As far as I have seen there is no need for upgrades o your player since the enemies don't ever really become difficult.
Not a bad tutorial. I think your summation is a bit off, making a game with just what you presented is going to be seriously tough. You might want to point people to the as3 version of shootorial as there next step.
