Hold down the mouse with the flamethrower, and while you're doing it, press E or whatever you have it set to to switch to the pistol, and your pistol fires faster than the machine gun! especially awesome if you have splitting bullets! and it will continue to fire as long as you hold down the mouse. super fun.
