very nice game. great concept and nice level of production. I think you need to be able to vary your speed a little, to make it more fun. I found myself slamming into chairs and boxes on purpose to slow down, which seems a bit counter-intuitive, and a little contrary to the spirit of the game. otherwise very enjoyable!
any game with a reference to Army of Darkness legally gets an automatic 5/5. If you don't believe me, just check paragraph 190,237b of the Patriot Act.
I think this game has a lot of potential Paul. The graphics are simple, yet clean. If you give it a little more functionality, some more sounds, and levels/upgrades, it'll be a nice little game. (Also, I think the player's life bar isn't working properly).
Its great to see a little more activity on this first game since Get Off My Lawn was released. I will continue to pay attention to the feedback here as well, and plan to make a really awesome sequel to this game in the coming weeks!
I revamped various aspects of the game and fixed a couple of the minor bugs that remained. Now, you shouldn't get stuck in stun mode when you pause. I added a menu button in the shop when you are between levels, and you can now press P to pause as well as spacebar. Enjoy!

Those of you who are having glitches...make sure you aren't using an older version of flash player. I think you will need at least Flash Player 9.0 for this one, because I programmed it in AS3.0
