I must be missing something. The only thing I can really do is mate dragons or buy them from the thieves guild right? They raid automatically, and there's nothing I can do to speed it up? I only ask because I can't ever seem to raise dragons faster than their retaliation builds up, then I lose a dragon every 3 - 4 turns and die off.
The second to last level is insane. I'm sure there's a way, but I can only take one flag without getting destroyed by the 4 NPCs. 4 vs 1? There must be a specific class (I tried tank, it's not great on this map) for this.
Great game. I'm guessing the creator did it on purpose, but a lot of the easy answers are displayed directly in the screenshot accompanying the question. For example, I've never played FireBug, but it asks what he collects, and there are clearly beans in the picture. :P
I smacked the hell out of various characters from Double Dragon, Renegade, Mario Bros., Kung Fu, Kid Riki, and River City Ransom, and this was just the first few minutes. Not to mention, the first boss having that classic River City Ransom boss theme is an insta-win. 5/5
This game is awesome. My only complaint (which might not even be because of the game, but it happens so much more on this game than any other I've played) is the directional keys stick quite often. This makes catching 60 coconuts an exercise in anger-management. Other than that, the mini-games are good fun and the storyline is interesting.
I love all the customization options. Only thing I could think of to add is allowing WSAD to be used as well as arrow keys for movement. Would make non-mouse movement much easier.
I love it. "You have a right to protest", but as you scroll the screen further, you see people being arrested and beaten for their "right to protest". 5/5 for truth.
The concept is unique, and that is nice in a genre well populated with horrible games. However this game is nothing more than frustrating. At first, I found myself enjoying the easier levels. However with no way to gauge your power or angle other than trial and error, I found myself quickly aggravated at the accuracy required by a game that gives you nothing to work with. Therefore, I will be exiting this game and never returning unless I am about to get into a fight, because this game makes me want to punch someone. 2/5
Yeah my up key seems to stick a lot. I had to retry the hover part at the very beginning four times. Though I have this problem with a lot of flash games, most don't require this kind of precision. Maybe I'll try another browser, because I know it's not the game causing this.
There's no need for a reset skill option in this game. With enough levels, you can max out everything on your skill tree. But you should've beaten the game by that point.
The beginning part of the battle theme sounds like the final boss theme from River City Ransom. (Slick's Theme, if anyone wants to Youtube it for comparison.)
Treasure chests are a global spawn, which means technically you could walk back and forth between the same 2 squares and keep creating treasure chests if you have the time. Also, if there's one thing Diablo taught us, it's to reset if you don't like your gambling results, so save often! XD
I've tried playing this game three times now. It's an awesome game, and reminds me of SimTower as someone else said. However, my game never saves. So every time I want to play again, I must restart.
It's always refreshing to see another Nerdook game. On a website full of the same ol' tower defense games, the gradual "build up, so you can reach the moon" type games, and crap MMOs, it's good to see that someone is thinking outside the box.
To those stuck under the house after you play the piano correctly: There are hidden objects which make a "click" sort of sound when you obtain them. Almost every time I heard a "click", a new way opened up for me. If you don't see anything moving or opening up, you haven't collected all the hidden objects in that area yet.
Though the ending is still a bit confusing to me, the game itself was awesome. 5/5
