The most important thing I see all these "hint" guides overlooking is that you get 50+ gold when your adventurers return to town successfully: AKA it is NOT advantageous to buy the next dungeon level as soon as you can. Doing that will cost you 300+ gold in many instances
The randomness is super frustrating and very, very sloppy. Just got 30 mins in and at that point, you start getting more than 6 items and it will just replace them (I've had white 6 gold items replace 100+ gold items...) Then due to the randomness of it all, I had 6-7 rounds in a row where the entrance and exit were as far away as they could possibly be. I missed the dragon 25day challenge by a day...
