So.. I feel kind of dumb, clicking the arrows in the shop next to "upgrade status" lets you see the moves you can buy. I read through the comments trying to find this info and no one posted it, so here it is. Should + for others to see.
I love the remarkably frank conversation greg and the boss have. "Argh! You've taken my powers!" "Its OK! You can get your powers back at the shopkeeper!" "Oh.. But WHY?!?!?!..... oh well. Time To Level Up Again Derp."
Easiest 5/5 I've seen on the site. Its quick, fast, and dirty arcade style gameplay mixed with the headgames of finding mines is a blast. I found speed mode a little too easy, even at the 4th level, but playing puzzle mode 4 and treating it like speedmode is an absolute blast.
well done. short and sweet, satisfying in that "one more time" style of gameplay with a healthy splash of bullet hell. i really enjoyed my time with this game, and if it hadnt been for the achieves, i probably wouldn't have noticed the lack of a restart the game button but. 5/5 <3
I love the simple design. Twitch based gameplay, funny poses, and smoosh make a great game. But, am I the only person that wants to be able to do tricks from gap to gap? Somersaults, skids and flips would make this game feel even more polished. Maybe combo bonuses for nailing close but not quite dead landings.
The physics, while they didn't feel completely accurate, I put up with for the sake of the arcade elements. If you wanted to make the game feel a bit more realistic, the first thing I would do is point you to the Williams Pinball collection on the Xbox360, but barring that, real pinball machines have a 3-4% grade on the slant of the table. The ball seems to lose too much speed when it hits the walls of the field. It can be speeding along, hit the side, and slow to a crawl. The kickers are too strong. A real kicker might give half the bounce yours do. Those comments aside, I think the game as it stands works, it gives the boards a manic feel. I would only recommend adjusting the amount of speed the ball loses when it hits the sides tbh. Oh, and, if you could add a nudge button, that'd be amazing. If you're using wasd to play, then let up,down, left, and right be nudges. Gave it 5/5 for being a solid game, room for improvement, but great fun for what it is.
I found the snail's wish to be naive, a trite wish for immortality without any conceptualization of the ramifications. No little snail, you may not live forever. To do so would devalue your life, cause you unfathomable unhappiness as you roam through life watching your friends and loved ones die to be replaced by others who are not they. And to what end? Fear of the unknown in death? If you cannot be swayed by words, then I shall refuse to comply with your wish. You need me to hold down the right key, but I don't need to indulge your selfish desires. Good Day Sir. 1/5.
As a former fan of final fantasy tactics, i have to say this was pretty fun. I only wish that instead of walls of text, i could get a small flash example. Or if intent on leaving the text in, a "i know the basics, what's different?" button would make it easier to jump in. I also couldn't help but dislike the clumsy interface for placing down troops. Either make the window movable or place it at the bottom (we don't need those buttons when placing down anyways). Lastly, a little bit of reminder text on what effect stats have when leveling up would smooth things along. Other than those small quibbling details, this is a great game. Keep it up.

The Pros: Hidden numbers make for challenging targets. Pictures are fairly well rendered.
The Cons: an 8 second music loop gets very annoying over the course of 5 minutes, let alone any longer. The hint button shouldn't lead to a walkthrough, but rather offer a hint onscreen. Also, there were times when I didn't quite have the number in the center of the magnifying glass and it did not count, a little leniency on the hit detection would be lovely. Lastly, if the time runs out, the game should tell you where the numbers were that you missed.
For replayability, you may want to consider randomly generated places for numbers to appear.
2/5 stars, it's playable, but why would i want to when there are find the difference games that execute the same style of content, offer a smoother interface, and don't have grating music loops?
Some people are saying its too hard, but in my opinion most of the puzzles are pretty well thought out. It did feel weird that you're given a jump button you dont use for half of the game but.. all in all. not bad. 4/5
