This is absolutely, the funniest game i've ever played. I don't think you can go 5 seconds here without finding a comedic reference in the text. I've thoroughly enjoyed this so far, and I look forward to spotting out even more comedic references that are freshly baked into the game :)
I was surprised to see the cast of Touhou appear in this game... It was a novel touch to see Marisa, Reimu, Sakuya and Cirno appear in a song... Really made my day.
I completely disagree with the credit card verification for the chat feature. It's one of the main reasons I got beta, (or Pro), and i'm a little annoyed that I can't use it now, considering I don't want to give out my card details, let alone pay ANY amount of money for a feature i've already payed to be unlocked (Yes I know it's 1 cent, but it's still the principle of it). Also, i'd like to add that kongregate is a 13+ site anyway, therefore, we've already acknowledged we're 13 or older by accepting the terms and conditions while signing up, without a credit card, or having to pay anything. C'mon QRious, sort it out, pretty please? With a cherry on top?
Classlist:
Rouge - Starts with Little Girl, good with small guns.
Hunter - Starts with Little Girl, good with bowguns.
Sheriff - Good with shotguns.
Milita - Good with big guns.
Sniper (Unlocks at Milita Level 10) - Good with rifles.
Ranger (Unlocks at Hunter Level 10) - Good with big guns.
Duelist (Unlocks at Rouge Level 10) - Great with small guns.
Noble (Unlocks at Sheriff Level 10) - Good with anything.
Enjoy ^_^
Whereas this is a very amusing game, funny storyline, addictive single player modes, I came across a few issues. Firstly, the multiplayer mode doesn't seem to be loading on kong, for me or several other people, this needs to be sorted. Secondly, these "Premium" items is a complete waste, if you wish to get more people on kong playing this, then you'll need to offer them 100% of the game. Finally, please, please, please, please add a "Are you sure you want to Quit?" popup when you select "Quit Game"... I was on the final stage of a certain level, and it took me a while to get there, when I accidentally pressed the button, and was returned back to the title. There needs to be a confirmation between the user and the game before leaving anything. Hope to see updates for this game, it's a good game. :3
As a big fan of jmtb02, I can't think of a single word of criticism with this masterpiece. Beautiful music composed by Kr1z (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/133025), and one of the most compelling, even though short, storyline I have seen in a while. As a true gamer, I'm not ashamed to say that the ending to this is one of the few games that have actually made me almost cry, bravo jmtb, you've done us all proud again! 5/5
I've got to say, the amount of posts still asking "Where's the Game?" or "Why have I been sent to another room?" is ridiculous, as if no one actually reads the description. Just try to remember, that there is no game, and before you go posting "The Game won't load!" comments, just try to remember that it was created to eliminate chatlag on the kong chatting section, which, no, Whacks, is not stupid, as there are a lot of people here on kong who actually use the chatting system, many people, like myself who use it on a daily basis. Secondly, because it's a popular game in the multiplayer category, it will have its own room, which you will be automatically taken to. Let's give everyone a break, and instead of posting "Where is the room?" comments, click on the chat actions of the top right section of the chat, and select "Switch to Room Chat". (Note: Switching to Room Chat and changing Chatrooms is completely different)
As in real life, while creating badges, Greg often finds himself jumping between floating ground and avoiding spikes... The moral of the game? Kongregate Badge Makers can party like no one else can ;3
I'd like to make it clear to any new users who are playing this, that it will take you onto a second chatroom, like many multiplayer games. Whereas you may see users in this room, they may not be talking in it, instead talking in room chat. The way to switch to room chat is by using the chat actions panel in the top right corner, and selecting "Switch to room chat", hopefully this will clear up any questions that have been raised. :p
I think it's great what you've done. Whereas Just Chatting is good, it doesn't show the room patriotism as this. Good one, it's time someone (Aside from the several games already existing regarding The Hive) made a game showing off the Internet's best chatroom, where dreams are made of chocolate, and a land where Bees are considered orthodox :p
As always, Coolio Naito fails to disappoint. The game contains beautiful music, awesome graphics, and everyone's favourite robot as the lead character... what more do you want? :D
Awesome game, with great graphics. It really takes me back to the whole "Helecopter" craze. Just to comment, the amount of times I have seen the words "Oops. Bye Bye" appear on the game is ridiculous, and aside from that, the whole game seems addicting, and got me hooked for an entire evening. I assume some sort of "Soviet Russia" joke would be suffice to end this comment.
The ability to chat without lag is fantastic, and can help keep on top of some of those busy moments. Great when you can't be bothered to play a game, and just want to talk to some friends on here, both new and old, I don't think there's any other place to be than the wonderful Just Chatting game by 2DArray... thanks 2D, now I can talk without the frustration of chatlag ^_^
Personally, I've thought of a few improvements that can be added to the game. Firstly a selection of backgrounds would be nice, maybe even customisable planes, where you can change the colour or look of pre-set models. In addition, the whole points system needs to be overlooked, it can be very frustrating to make 2 kills and then die, only to lose points. Assisted kills would also be nice, which can stop the concept of kill stealing. The game should also have some sort of beginner advantage implemented into games, it's not fair when new people come into the game un-experienced only to be slaughtered by an army of warhawks. I'd also ask could the server issues be looked at before publicly announcing the game, the game is already unstable now and then, and a larger amount of players on the current server would collapse it. I'll try to think of more ideas :D
I just joined a game with a few people, only to find additional blocks in the inventory... there's a grand total of 18, and some new tools, including keys and keyholes, and some sort of crown which, if gone over, attaches it to their heads.. I think i'll be spending a few more hours now on this game, new tools are always a nice touch... thanks QRious :D
This game is essentially the 'Very Very Easy' mode of Touhou... it has vibrant graphics, and a nice challenge with a rather unusual upgrade system. If you really want a challenge after this, try digging out a copy of Touhou (preferably the legal way) and give that a go (preferably on lunatic mode)... Touhou 6 onwards should satisfy your lust :D
it's a great game to show people who wish to create their own game, how to make it better. I personally am finding these lectures brilliant while creating a game of my own, and think that all of these lectures are worth a look if you're going to create a game too :D
