i think she's just an embodiment of self-harm in general and the games choices symbolize the decisions one can make to stop or continue that self-harm.
one thing i have noticed is that when you beat a truly excellent game you really don't want it to be over. you think of how the story could have expanded from where it left off. this is one such game. 5/5 very well done.
