My first weapon: Maximum firerate, minimum energy consumption, although firepower is in the middle. Call it: ****in' awesome minigun - looks like a wand... or a lit match...
My family consists of me (the brother), my sister, and a robot. Also, our family members have themes. I am interested in anything that can be classified as a lethal weapon, my sister uses anything nature-related, and of course the robot (mis)uses technology.
Did you know that you can use heavy obstacles to your advantage? Obstacles only hinder you in your ascent, but if you're falling out of control, or falling at all for that matter, you can use a heavy obstacle to break the fall.
This game is pretty much all that its cracked up to be, if not a little less. There were excellent graphics, perfect impact response, incredibly smooth and responsive movement, nice variety and detail of ships and enemies, including an awesome variety of turrets, nice choice of weapons, great boss battles, decent sound effects, pretty much all-around awesome. I actually believed i was playing the game inside a notebook. The music wasn't half-bad either. One thing could've been a little better, though... (more to come)
...there could've been a little more variety in terrains... i mean, we could've been flying over vast oceans, over rocky mountains, snowy plateaus, freeways, highways, and cities populated with traffic, rough waters filled with jagged rocks... country plains filled with rivers and farms and animals, strings of islands, i mean, you could've even added weather conditions, like you could've been flying through clouds, rainstorms, thunderstorms, hurricanes even. Overall, i think this game deserves a decent grade, like a C+.
Overall, this deserves 4 stars.
