Brilliant game. I think it may have lost a little appeal for me in not being quite as surreal as the first one. Either way, keep making games. You have a talent!
Found an interesting bug. I finished the campaign, then tried level 1 again to see if I would get more bonus points. No-go, oh well. I played around with my points, and ended up putting everything into melee. Once I finished, I went back to the title screen, there, I decided to go back into the campaign bonuses screen. The points showed I had -1 left, and I could not reset or finish. Odd.
When your mouse goess off the playing field, the paddles stop (at least in FF2 w/ Flash9). This would be fine, except for the alternating-paddle-directions powerup.
This makes the game nearly unplayable.
I amend my previous comment. The bug associated with previous robots missing movements makes the later levels frustrating and more like a game of chance. Who wants to work to get the timing just right, only to be let down by a buggy robot who cann't do the same thing twice? 3/5
One suggestion would be to allow a shift-click or other easy button combination to "lock" a section of wire against changes. Sort of a "I know this wire must be in this position" toggle. Make the licked wires/sections lighter or darker or somehow easy to differentiate.
This game is far from entertaining, most because it is unnecessarily frustrating. There is no reason to create random scripted instadeath "monsters" that kill you without a chance to dodge as soon as you, say, exit a portal. I play games to have fun, not to try and memorize every single possible keypress over a 5-minute level.
1/5 for code that punishes people for lag. When the shapes keep moving to kill you while your guy is stuck because of a lag spike, it's not challenging, it's just plain unfair.
Here's a tip, Levinkai, know what you're talking about before you spew idiocy all over the comment section. You can have up to 8 party members, but only 4 active at any time. The others can be switched out whenever you need them.
Whenever I have this game open, my mouse cursor goes berserk. This is not an uncommon problem with games that insist on changing the default mouse pointer, due to the fact that most people who try royally screw it up.
Hey, tip for those who aren't getting the card, I was using FireFox and it didn't work for me after 4 tries. Moving to IE7 just to watch the video got me the card first time
