Overly easy -- I think this is still in development. I got an "achievement" -- something about a period of time of max "fullness" without injury, but I don't know where to look at achievements (or the impact on the game). Also, super laggy. I want to give more than two stars, but simply can't. Please put some polish on this game (and add badges!).
Decent game -- I agree with the consensus the boss is a bit too easy. BUG: sometimes all opponents are dead (Life = 0) and the party will not celebrate and advance to next challenge. Also, unless one purposefully retries a level, it is nearly impossible to max all troops and ranged volley attacks. ★★★☆☆
Odd bug -- I am unable to purchase the next gun for my ship. I let the game run ~10 hours, today, while I was at work after purchasing scattergun upgrade. I came home to piles of money and purchased gauss upgrades for four weapon hotpoints, as well as sone "tier 2" hull and repair upgrades.
I switched games for five minutes. When I came back, all hull upgrades and weapon upgrades were maxed (weird!!), but I was unable to purchase "the next weapon up" upgrades for two remaining gun hotpoints (scatter gun to gauss).
Re: cursor -- I was going to take a SS, but Unity screwed the pooch (again). My sword appears to be 3x (larger?) that the system cursor -- the issue isn't a huge deal; I adapted. :)
Re: multi-purchases and text color -- thanks for responding. :)
Okay that would be an issue that I need to create a rush fix for then. I will add an options button that will allow you to switch to normal mouse cursor. Sorry about that, we didn't have access to older computers for game testing purposes and I am just now hearing about this issue. ~Taiga
Another suggestion: When purchasing in Buy10/Buy 50/Buy 100, could the upgrade "Cost" show in red until the players has saved enough to make the purchase?
Those things were added only as a convenience so players could spend only a desired amount and not have to click a hundred times or buy everything in one go. I do not think I will be taking them any further. ~Taiga
In options, would it be easily implemented to toggle the appearance of the cursor? The sword is a bit difficult to use. :) Like the game so far -- keep up the good work!
It is possible to do this but I am having a great deal of difficulty seeing how the sword is hard to use. It has the same pointing location and size as a regular cursor with the same click detection hotspot as a regular cursor. However, it uses hardware rendering from what I read about it and, if it defaults to forced software rendering due to someone's computer hardware not supporting it, it will ruin the mouse's look and throw off the clicking hotspot dramatically. Does the sword appear to be normal mouse size to you or is it kinda big? ~Taiga
Okay, five times to Noah's Ark. Five times f*cked by the lag. This game is half-assed. I'm hugely disappointed in the effort by Berzerk Studio. I expected much more, based on the previous, stellar games. 1 of 5 stars.
A neat game -- I particularly like the simplicity of the interface and game field. silentshivers has a great point: bosses.
Please keep updating this; tons of potential.
NOTE: There is a grammatical error in the tutorial. Instead of "This is enemies," it should be "These are enemies."
