Huh, after mysterious disappearance of my progress yesterday, it is back today. Odd, as if 'sent' is messing with me, hahahaha.
I read the link you provided, and it seems that first thing happened to me. I will try refreshing if it happens again.
Huh, my progress disappeared somewhere, so I will have to start over. I don't mind it somehow, as this game worths playing at least twice anyway. I wonder what caused this though. I didn't clear the cache or anything.
You do not need to finish all levels to earn easy badge! You can also lose by using up all the bullets you have. 100% accuracy sounds hard, but it's actually very easy really. If you have more than 100% accuracy when you lose by using up your bullets, you automatically earn the easy badge.
While this game is fun, I think this game depends on luck too much. There was this one time that I couldn't find any survivor or any new gun in the first and second town, and somehow the zombies all rushed at me from the start, which I have a very hard time defending.
Shard of Serendipity+Super Nova deck is fun to play, but does rely on luck to certain extent. It feels satisfying if you somehow got the card you need through the shard though.
Whew! That was loads of fun! Can't wait for the next one.
I think this one is easier than the last one (which is a good thing), or maybe I have become familiar with the game's mechanic. The puzzles and the hints this time are clear, leading to a lot less frustration. The mystery is good as always. It's hard to find any point-and-click game as good as cube escape, which is a pity, as I absolutely love this genre of game.
I am thankful that this game does not thrive on jump scares. There are some, but not that many, usually just one or two per game. It added to the mystery so I am somewhat fine with it. I was afraid of the shadow at the end of this game, but thankfully it just stood there doing nothing.
All in all, a great game. I will surely buy Rusty Lake Hotel on steam later.
Oh my, such a short game, but very heart-warming and brilliant! A sequel is in order, perhaps? The pixel style is nice and simple. Come and get 5 stars from me!
Ah, I miss this game. I tried to find this game again but completely forgot the name. Then of all possible places I rediscovered the game through "Player Punch" page on tvtropes!! Thanks, whoever put it on that page!
I think I can detect some portal references, like the words "cake" and "lie" that show up on camera. Furthermore, "This was a triumph", which is the beginning sentence of portal ending song, was actually said in one level. I'm not sure if this is intentional, though.
Woohoo! I finally have one of every rare weapons. Pulverizer is seriously hard to get, but I finally got one. I also finally upgraded every card upgradeable in my deck. That took me a month. Seriously, this is the game I play the longest on this site.
@rainlord I don't really think that the card is broken since you have to sacrifice your creature for damage. Not only that, since the catapult is a permanent, it could be destroyed with a permanent control card, such as deflagration, or it could be stolen with steal card, thus destroying any tactics surrounding catapult. Nevertheless, feel free to think that this card is broken. After all, I myself think that aether is slightly unfair. If you really think that this card is unfair, maybe you should try the elements forum. I think they have this one section where you can request for cards to be weakened (or nerfed, as you might call). That would be the best place to complain about this card.
@rainlord While it's true that catapult doesn't have momentum, it does act like it has one. The damage done by catapulting your monster can't be blocked by shields, just like the effect of momentum. And it's not reflected by shields that reflect spell such as reflective shield. So I guess it can be said that it does physical damage with added effect of momentum, since it bypass all shields. I think that's what Oz meant.
@rinkaiho I don't really understand what is mathematically dynamic, but perhaps you should see the farming studies and statistics section on elements forum. They seriously calculate a lot of thing in game such as chance to get the card you want on your first turn, or how to get the best out of special spin, and they explain the way they calculate them. I actually don't understand any of it, but maybe you would nicely belong there. Give it a try.
The last time I commented, I mistakenly said that Aflatoxin is a rare weapon. I actually meant Arsenic. I'm so sorry for that mistake. I'm truly embarrassed by that. I also admit that the wiki I recommended is really outdated. You should try the elements forum instead.
@BoW_KICK_ME Maybe you should try limiting your deck to 30 cards only. You're more likely to get what you want from drawing a card. 60 cards deck is really hard to play as they are proned to bad draw, unless you have something that let you draw more than once per turn, like Golden hourglass or precognition. Also don't put too much pillar in your 30 cards deck, 12-13 pillars should be enough. You could try changing the number of pillars to your liking though.
Look! Satan has made something! He's trying to suck our souls with this ridiculously addicting game! Don't be fooled by him, people!
Joking aside, 5 minutes in, already 54 deaths, and I haven't even finished the 1st level yet. Would I get better if I sell my soul to satan?
For new players, I strongly suggest reading this guide first. => http://elementsthegame.wikia.com/wiki/A_Guide_to_Success_in_Elements,_by_Breach
The guide is highly informative. The guide should answer almost every question you might have about this game (you don't really need to read everything in the guide in one go). There are even suggested decks for beginner, which I find very useful. I myself currently use Firefly queen deck, which is quite good and fun to use. It's also relatively easy (and cheap, if you start out as air element, since you already have a few copies of firefly queen, the most expensive card in this deck) to build one, even for beginner. I'm going to try darkness mono deck next. Can't wait to try that one out. This game is so much fun!
