The many FF references as well as the entire 8/16/32 bit atmosphere was very well done. A fantastic job indeed, and a very engaging story. I will be looking forward to the next game! 3/5.
A highly original idea with an excellent execution. However, as said before, the physics get very annoying. You could build a perfect tower and yet still the tower sways of its own accord. If you're going to reward good building, you might as well reward us with no hurricane winds. Music is fun the first time through, but quickly becomes repetitive. Although I appreciate the graphics, the way the blocks are created feels strange to me. An otherwise good game. 3/5.
An incredibly original idea. The music and graphics... on the other hand... As well as the lack of building your own levels, or possibly more levels. 2/5, but if only for those things.
Errrrr... What do you do on lvl 31? For those of you who don't know how to: From the main menu, drop all the way down, go under the far right side of the Armor Games logo, jump up, and then all the way the the left.
This is one of the most original ideas on Kong in a while, and the soundtrack for both life and death heightens the experience accordingly. Some parts of the gameplay I didn't quite like, mostly the death gates, as well as your multiplier resetting when you miss a gate. There's something about the graphics that just wants to make me squeal, but I agree with many others when I say that this game needs achievements. A 4/5.
I found that Megamonkey's tip didn't work for me, but Soktrical's did. An overall very challenging and addictive game. My main issue were the surviving for a set time achievements, which made me go over 240 on multiple occasions.
A brilliant idea and gameplay execution, but the teleporters not corresponding was a huge issue. The music also got on my nerves after a while (thanks for the mute button). 3/5, if only because there's nothing to do after you beat the game.
