decent game, though a few tweaks would make it much better. first there is no reason that a chest should drop from an enemy only to yield nothing, either make it so that chests drop less often, or put cheap small potions, or maybe a small amount of gold, then take away the unnecessary grind portion, some grind is ok, but i shouldnt have to kill slime for hours just to learn that i still cant take on higher level slime.
how often does the game save? i have navigated away from the game and had lost several upgrades to equipment, maybe have it save more often, or an option to save.
im not sure if holy water should cure silence and the lightning bolt status effect, but it does. seems like a decent cure all at this point. since you get the free ones when you get vel.
this game is a rip off, more of a phantasy star then final fantasy, the reason i say this is because of the sci fi element, the story that is a continuation of the previous one and those are elements not found in final fantasy, ok so splitting hairs, but its a good game, thanks for taking the time to do these so far it has been an enjoyable experience.
5/5 for the whole series up to now.
it seems like it would be a great game, but i have problems when it comes to clicking items or even menu buttons, could be the problems with linux flash. its easy to duplicate, find something that needs to be clicked on, or click on an item, cant drop it back into place or get rid of it, accidently picked up armor on a char and it wouldnt go back into the slot.
BUG - if you leave or close your browser the game will not keep your saved game info. i had almost all the achievements now there is none. was a 5/5 rating yesterday, now its 3/5 too much clicking to repeat my efforts.
i cant play this game, everything i click on brings up the options screen, i can move around but that is it, click next it brings up option, click on the skills bar it brings up option, i sit there it brings up options screen, nice options screen, maybe needs a few improvements, like only available from the start screen would be nice.
if it is only my problem then i will blame it on linux flash, since it sucks
"play now" screen comes up but cannot click "play now" the kongregate banner flashes when click on it, using ubuntu 10.04 os, so may not work with linux flash... that sucks, i loved this series so far. restarted computer and still not working, hopefully it gets fixed for all to enjoy it,
i dont know anything about the re upload or what ever, but this game sucks, it should have been left of the site, i try to be rather nice to people but honesty never hurts, the mechanics suck, its hard to control whereyour pencil goes, the loop you cant make bigger or smaller, its a stab in the dark whether your going to put it in the right spot or have to redo, i didnt enjoy much on this game, other then clicking home on the kong site. that was fun.
level 14 and 15 gave me problems, the key is to use the lava pit tower at the beginning, on both, this way they hit the very first few enemies, also used the mana steal more then the fear tower, so that i had mana near the end to cast meteor. also used the axe several times to gain funds early on to place more or upgrade towers. use the fury in the beginning to level up the lava towers sooner.
@1234...ew - in the space game it takes place in .... SPACE, here its on planets, ok so its different but still similar, you got energy from solar panels that you could place anywhere, and here you can place the energy things anywhere, SG had swarming enemies, ooze swarms you here, im not seeing the TON of differences that you seem to think are there. the first few levels are rather easy, then the last gets insanely difficult. but since its just a demo, i guess i can forgive that, since if it was that simple throughout the game no one would buy the full version. i like the game overall. 5/5
this is the best game, if you actually want to play a game and not just sit and chat, then dont play. if you just want to sit and chat then this is the game to play! dont give bad rating cause its not your type of game, go play a game you like to play and rate that
i had never played the game and picked mccain, played on hard, and beat the hard level, i have no idea how you would lose 3x in a row, not that hard if you ask me, i picked 3 hatchet men, and went right after obama, so what if i didnt have more territory, or lost 2 hatchet men, i beat the game, i guess its the strategy that you use that makes the difference. 3/5 its a bit easy, but hey you get to slap obama, and thats always a plus.
this is actually alot better then most of the first time games people develope, thats worth atleast 2 stars there, its got potential, keep pluggin away at it
i wish it didnt lag for me so much, i cant throw bombs, place gems and when it does allow me to thorw them they explode in wrong spot, loved the game when it first came out, now cant stand playing it
move around the map? the arrow pointing down? wont let me do anything when i clicked on it, once you search the area 100% there is nothing left to do but run out of ammo, and then die, very buggy at best... and like so many other games in the genre, gets very boring, just hold down button and fire away...1/5
