need beter graphix. i can no play past lvl 1 cuz graphix are sooooo bad. also need less upgrade and more moveing. i like to move it move it. Seriously though, the tone of the game is perfect. 5/5
One star. This game was so boring that I couldn't bring myself to play past the third level.
Gamplay consists of holding down the mouse button and pointing at enemies, then interrupting gameplay to "explore base."
By far one of the worst-executed games I have seen in a long time. At least some of the monsters look cool.
The only things this game does right are the art and not being able to change direction in mid-air.
I could not stand playing this after 5 levels, and I'm generally a fan of platformers.
Also, once you unlock dragons you can beat any level with just two of them and an occasional spell. Maybe lower the damage by 1 or make them much more expensive.
The slots only break up the gameplay. The tiny amount of money they give you is only significant until around level 4.
Having treasure add 50-100 gold each would be an improvement. It would be more balanced (less luck-based) and would not interrupt gameplay for minutes at a time. Having 15 slot tokens at the end of some levels was just plain unfun.
This would be nice if it were a little bit harder.
You can beat the first level by closing your eyes, holding right, and tapping up every 1/4 to 1/2 second.
I also only lost one life doing Falling Blocks with my eyes closed.

You probably just weren't paying attention. Your damage reduction at a given armor class goes down every floor. You probably went down a floor, added a point into Armor Proficiency, then looked at your damage reduction. I have only ever seen Armor Proficiency work as intended.
I got a bug where using hint to clear the last difference caused it to become revealed, but the level never cleared. If I click the difference that was revealed using hint it just flashes.
In the sequel you should probably make bosses immune to the mage's prison spell (and other stuns). Also, "last boss" units like the Corrupter should probably be given a party.
It is much too easy to just take bosses completely out of fights.
