Pretty terrible. Every single screen is overcluttered and unintuitive ("Back" and "Prev" on same screen). No indication if you're doing any good vs enemies. Pass.
To everyone asking: Each company has a modifier from 1.07 to 1.15 to determine the cost of the next level. For Lemonade Stands and Oil Rigs, it's 1.07, so the second one costs 1.07 times as much as the first one, and the third one costs 1.07 as much as the second one (1.1449 times as much as the first). The Newspaper Stand multiplier is 1.15, the highest in the game. So while it may start cheap, it accelerates at a rate of 1.15^n. At 500 units, a Newspaper Delivery costs 1,941,879,765,789,736,884,847,423,017,640 times (~2 nonillion times) as much as it initially did, while an Oil Rig only costs 459,732,350,086,026 times (~460 trillion times) as much as it initially did.
Could we get commas for Angel Investor numbers? Almost accidentally reset thinking I had doubled my 282 million investors, when I'd actually only accumulated 28 million!
Bug: Apparently, I saved while I was recovering from death. When I loaded, I was no longer regenerating health. Sat @ 73% HP unable to attack or rest. I was able to heal myself to full with a health potion, but even after saving and reloading @ full HP, I cannot rest or attack--completely stuck! :( Not looking forward to restarting my level 38 char.
Unplayable. No, really. I really wanted to play. Second level glitched out on me with none of the elements of the game lining up with each other. Nevertheless, I tried to press on. Random screens kept popping up (Defeat! Out of Gas, or the Let's Buy Some Powerups! screen) at random intervals. Tried to exit to the mission screen, which was also glitched out. Serious code issues here. Was this not playtested at all?
Fully upgraded, 30/30 stars, money going to waste... and I'm not even hitting the second-to-last marker every time even with a perfect launch and a boost. Clearly needs some balancing.
