-I figured out what was causing the black-screen problems earlier; it was my flash-resizer plugin. seems to cause problems for this game for some reason.
I tried starting the game several times; let's me create and modify a character, then it immediately goes into an arena and the battle is immediately lost, with no fighting. then it takes me to the tutorial area, but every time I click on a link there, the screen goes black.
"holy crap, how do you kill those armored skeletons!?!? I had to lightning spam them, and even then there was like 5 left and I barely survived!!" --------- the easy way is with knights, but I can't recall if you get those in the demo or not. You can also level up your archers to where they get armor piercing ability.
Oh, btw, you can change the resolution of the full game, set it to windowed or fullscreen, and even get it to stretch to fit whatever fullscreen resolution you want.
@malavern:
--right click on the flash window, and click "show all" a couple of times. that should resize it so you can see the text. If you want to go fullscreen, and you're using firefox, try the Flash Resizer plugin. that works for any flash animation or game.
like the concept.
minor quibbles:
-armored skeletons a bit TOO tough for the level. maybe lower either the hps or the armor by 25%?
-as noted by others, healer doesn't seem to heal unless target is also in attack range. Also, maybe make it so healer can heal your primary character as well as defenders. makes for a more strategic use of the unit.
good luck!
the level where the yellow bird things first appear (the ones that slow you), just has too many enemies. do one of the following:
-reduce the damage the fast, blue, beaky things cause
-reduce the total number of enemies that spawn at that point
-reduce the hps of either the blue beaky things or the yellow ones
any of those things would make it less tedious. I'm playing male, soldier (the 1st choice) with the best assault weapon, almost all perks, and a set of decent armor, and still can't make it past this, while everything before has been workable, even with an SMG.
"Realized this when I was low on HP and started repeatedly pressing my key for healing."
healing potions are not instantaneous in this game, but just make you regen fast.
I'm not sure I get how to use special attacks. I tried the poison arrow one, but it never allows me to use it in battle, not even if i press the hotkey that it is listed under.
works fine for me. timer counts down, counter works.
kinda boring though. You have to wonder about a game where it's more fun to stab yourself than actually win.
"I like how a Sledge-Heavy is 14lbs, but in the description it says, "10lb Sledge hammer." Lol Fail."
uh, the 10lb part refers to the weight of the head. then you add the handle and the fittings for the total weight, It could indeed add up to 14 lbs if it was a decent sized handle.
*whack*
whew, I'm tired, hitting this monster ONCE exhausted me. luckily, I can sell the flesh I cut off it for instant gold, and just walk away from the battle and go have a drink...
worst RPG immersion, ever.
hell, at least dreamworld let you FINISH a single combat.
another feaux- free, feaux-multiplayer, feaux FINISHED game masquerading as something useful.
I tried it for a week... it's a fail of a game. Appears to have some potential, but very poor pathing during combats, half of the features unfinished, huge learning curve for no reason, no way to trade without paying...
It tries to be 4 games in one and fails at all.
sorry, thumbs down.
awww I was so hoping for something like smash the turtle or Homerun in Berzerkland, but with Beiber as the target.
I would have enjoyed that. sorry to see such a poor showing. :P
I swear this game just gets re-packaged WITH THE SAME BUGS over and over and over again.
this version is really not significantly different from the very first version ever made, about 3 years ago now.
