Charming game, I really enjoyed it. I have some suggestions, from most important to least:
- Rubies need to be either grindable (get a fix amount every time you finish a quest line or get an ending), or there needs to be a way to reset them on prestige.
- The base speed of the game is very slow, I found it unplayable without the 10x speed boost. I was racing to finish the game with the boost active before I ran out of rubies. I suggest bumping the default speed of the game, then making the boosts shorter and more expensive (together with resetable rubies).
- If I am currently grinding Blacksmithing for example, and a quest wants me to use Blacksmithing, I need to go to the skill tab, pause Blacksmithing, go back to quests, use Blacksmithing there, then go back to skills and continue it. Maybe this should complete automatically, if I'm already doing that skill.
- Consider a hard reset option.
- Turn off progress bar animation above a certain speed.
This is actually a very well designed game. Each strategy feels different from the others and the endings are also nice. In free mode you have plenty of time to achieve combined endings. That's at least 6 extra endings that would extend the longevity of the game. Please make more idle-management games!
With the new update, the game lost its charm for me. It used to be relaxing, clean and minimalistic, quite different from all the other idles here. Just look at the pinned screenshot on twitter. Now there's just too much going on, the UI is cluttered and full of notification-like icons, all urging you to do something. It feels like a mobile game now. The new content is also confusing and the progression path is not clear anymore. I get the cash shop, you have to make a living, but adding yet another currency, and an inventory and crafting is too much in one update.
What I expected instead: more farm tabs, more shapes, more utility items, upgrades and more focus on the puzzle elements, with different strategies to progress. Again, one by one, not in a single big update.
Instead of capitalizing on the strengths of the game, this update turned it into yet another medicre idle game.
Beautiful art, butter-smooth controls. The only bad part is the instant-kill shooting enemies, which break the quick flow of the game. A sequel with more plot, levels, enemies, weapons, upgrades, etc would be awesome.
Thank you for the honest and well thought feedback, Idegbajos. We hope you check back in for the next few updates and continue to give feedback.
