if you arrive back at a station without enough money to refuel, and then at the station sell an item to upgrade the fuel tank, when you leave the station you do not have a full tank of fuel.
a cinematic camera mode would be very nice for dogfights and waypoint following, where you and the target are kept on either side of the screen, with smooth zooming.
Also a missile cam would be cool.

All of the weapons are omnidirectional, so there is no real reason to dogfight closely.
If we could choose where shields where on the ship, then we could do some interesting combat. have an shield icon on the main display where you can toggle front/top/left/right/back/bottom. While i am tailing someone i only need front shields. if i intend to loop towards left then i need front/right/back shields. This gives an interesting shield mechanic, and so i can choose what sort of attack i want to do.
What i do is let my weapons refresh, click an enemy, and when the weapons discharge i quickly click on a space station to turn and outrun their missiles, and repeat looping like this.
Have various price modifiers for raw materials, low tech and high tech.
Then we can set up trade routes - selling raw materials one way and high tech the other way - or even 3 way routes.
At the moment the only trade routes that are interesting is expensive items from a 0.5 base and selling it to a 1.5 base, and returning empty.
Make prices change if I buy/sell too much, so I have to keep looking for more trade routes.
when you warp, instead of blackening the screen, make the ship travel through the warp gate in the correct direction, accelerate to warp speed, fly through a starfield and decelerate through the other warp gate. This makes the galaxy feel more real.
Also let us do barrel rolls in the warp tunnel if we want just for fun, or even turn the ship around.
Could you please have savable loadouts in the game? I would like to make loadouts for "mining", one for "fast ship combat" and one for "slow ship combat", as well as others.
