It’s a fate worse than losing your equipment, since you actually have to build on top of your formerly-great gear to go above your base stats! You’re better off dead if this happens late in the game. show less

May 27, 2013 2:52pm I’m ok not having a shop or town or whatever you want to call it. There’s a beauty to the simplicity of this game. The only thing I would like to see is some kind of recap page at the end to show stats, levels, etc.

Dec 16, 2012 5:43pm Cardinal quest is a great game. Might I suggest though you make a town of some sort? Make it so you can… Shop? Maybe even add in the human needs of food and water! Speaking of needs, a house would be awesome! Be able to also need sleep… Human needs, a shop for your money, and a upgradable home would be a game I would pay money to play! Though, letting us have it for free would be a lot nicer ;). show less

Oct 22, 2011 3:55pm Cardinal quest is a fantastic game. Please make more! I think the Rogue community really appreciates this type innovation on a classic theme.

Oct 24, 2011 12:13pm You really have potential gold with Cardinal Quest. Fix those bugs, look into balance issues (with enough fear/charm/shadowwalk etc you have too many outs that make the game too easy, and with mage cooldown on shadowwalk is so fast it allows you to be potentially invisible ALL the time). Also, get rid of that auto-equip feature, and don’t make potions stack. If there was a boss, you could just spam 20 defense potions and get +60 which is a bit too much ;) And last but not least; I’d pay 5 dollars for this game but it needs to be MUCH longer. Extra and much more difficult chapters, and we want to, ultimately, face Asterion. Keep up the good work though! show less

Thanks! I am hoping in the coming days to release a new 1.1d bug fix release that will handle most of the bugs people are having and after that focus on new features.

Oct 24, 2011 12:15pm Also, special monsters, bosses and additional story in between levels would be great additions!

Oct 19, 2011 4:13pm Okay I’m not sure that I will ever notice if you reply to this on your game but for some reason on Cardinal Quest The screen does not follow my character and instead stays static.
