Actually, he dies. Did you not see the boatman reflected on the water? He's going to his death. The bird lied all along, and even told Pete so near the end. The huge lady in the sky told him to do the oposite of what the bird was telling because she didn't want him to die.
Plus, it ends with him fading into a white light. Sure, someone says "you're opening your eyes", and "I'll see you soon", that's just some final comforting thoughts.
nice game but needs a pause button and more stuff and upgrades but 5/5 because its cool to see a new game designer make somthing like this and also its funny but please make it so you can pause because i had to pee when i played this but when i clicked on it i thought it would be endless at the begining 5/5
