Game comments and reviews

The game concept and implementation is fun, but it overall seems entirely too focused on pay-to-win. Micro-transactions in a free game are fine, and are even expected, but giving a significant advantage towards paying players over free players only serves to isolate the two groups. From a free player's prospective, Kings and Legends seems completely driven by profits, rather than interested in furthering the experience in game. No, I won't pay a couple hundred dollars for a special "VIP" status and all the benefits it entails. I enjoy MMO-style games because of the sense of progression I get after putting my time into them. This game has thoroughly trashed any illusion of progression by broadcasting, to everyone, each special, uber-powered, "VIP" exclusive card a paying player attains. I frequent Kong for quick browser-based games with game play that feels rewarding, and this isn't one of them.
