@Jermayn: same here. but to cover the map in green doesn't take the most time. the most time consuming is to fine tune the strategy, the tactics and the actions to get a very short finishing game time. so, if i want to play just a little and get it done quickly, i do it only once and it actually is a longer game time - maybe 1 minute more than my best time on that map would be.

btw except rude comments i don't see any other good reason to vote minus. there are more reasons, but they are all everything other than good: boredom, hypersensitivity, bitterness, jealousy, lack of humor, ill personality etc.
@kh4zul: i bought the map editor to it. it's cheap and you can build 2 types of walls too :) then you can upload your map and anyone can download and play it. there are lot's of custom maps online :D my nickname there is iMiZR1. i uploaded 3 really tough maps.
@iamthemasta: i have no stress at writing tips :) i like it. on the other hand, i get the picture of beginners flipping out at failure to win and being nearly desperate to get some tips. why not help them so they can have more fun too? :)
@iamthemasta: i understand your opinion. you want to solve the game yourself, without help. but what do you like to read here if we should not write any helping details? for me it's the opposite. i'm bored to death if i read another message that just says "awesome game". why shouldn't we share some info that actually has a point? i like to help others. they like to get help. it's like a win-win situation. if you want, i begin the helping posts with "spoiler", but if you see my nickname, you know what's coming anyway :)
every map here is possible to beat. the june 16 is easy to beat in 8 minutes. i think any experienced player can beat it in 7 minutes, some maybe in 6 minutes. just fly the city a little to the left, up the small peninsula, build 5 collectors, 6 reactors there, 2 bombers and 1 blaster to give yourself a little more space. then build some more collectors, 2 more bombers and 4 more blasters (don't let them shoot to lower levels) and move on. check out this map for some more help: http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8986/t7mf.jpg
@FroztySilva: one more property of mortars over bombers is that you don't have to wait to fully load them if you want to fire just one shell. sometimes it's awesome to have just one shell :) or a few more :) mortars are goooood :D
@FroztySilva: a good example to exploit all 3 weapons is the june 3 map. first just one mortar to the front line until the military buildup:

@FroztySilva: there are many situations where you want to hold back fire and just send a few shells over time to the deepest creeper, or you want to deliver a few shells to a large deep creeper area. then it's way more effective so send a mortar. a bomber would fire all the time and only to a small area. i used only bombers on the june 6 map, because i wanted to keep shooting small areas of deep creeper.
@FroztySilva: :D thanks! the first time i pushed that hard the city exploded :) i tried with mortars too, but they aren't any good on the june 6 map. they shoot on the side. the collectors are a good bridge on a saddle. they are cheap and you can guard the buildup continuously with blasters. it's the fastest push forward.
thx :) hovering the city is a double edge sword. me energy income dropped from 2.4 to 1.7 (didn't stop at 1.8) as i lifted off. but it may be a good choice to shorten the way for packets. there is one more problem with hovering the city: you have to pay attention to the connection of the city to the nearest node, where the packets are pushed into the network. this connection should not be broken while a packet travels on it. otherwise you loose packets (energy).

@chilese: ok. that's all about energy management. a mortar is most effective on deep creeper, so i only fire it if it's really deep. on the june 3rd i built so little energy, it would'n be possible to shoot all the time, and it's not necessary either.
