A slight update (even more synchronisation) on the design just posted for XI. Black Powder:

My design for XI. Black Powder:
I'm really proud of how the whole process is so seemless and coordinated.

One of the funnest games I've ever played, with a great relaxing tune in the background. And yes, being a programmer or at least understanding the basics of programming helps quite much at first. If there's anything to complain about, it's that the game tends to lag a bit when animating (regardless of the quality setting). Nevertheless, great work! 5/5
Funny, creative and original game, gets 5/5 from me. And I also think you shouldn't ruin other people's fun by posting the solution here in the comments. Post a link to a walkthrough so people who do not want to see the spoilers can choose not to.
3/5. But only because of the good story. The game itself was barely a game at all - with 100% linear action, it was more a flash movie with a few interactive possibilities.
This is just an awesome game. The idea is very simple, but the game is well implemented, smooth, fun and really addictive. This just goes to show that simple games can often be much better than really complex ones. 5/5
Simple concept, amazing game! There should be an online version made of this game, it would surely be a success if implemented well. A good example is the online game KDice, which is also a game with a simple concept, fun to play, and was rebuilt after an offline version of the game. And now it is very popular. I can see a similar perspective for this game!
for me, this was somehow the easiest of the series, the puzzles all made sense and i figured them out really fast. running around a building looking for items and figuring out what to do with them was much more challenging.
but anyway, this game was good as well and a little variation to the series was not a bad idea.
about the final level, i actually thought the letter was a trap and that, if you did what it told you (the simplest of all tasks), you would lose the game, as it wouldve seemed like another mischievous plan by the owner of the lighthouse, but i guess i was wrong. :D
The graphics and the game structure are very nice and clean, but the gameplay is too monotonous and simplistic. A little bit of creativity was added by the various mission descriptions, but it all just breaks down to:
- flying between planets
- destroying asteroids or enemies
I like the touch with the trading system though.
Looking at the features of this game, it is really well made, but it needs a lot more variety and as someone mentioned, having to fly between the planets yourself instead of using the autopilot would be a nice addition.
2/5
This is a clone of Risk with a few modified rules. It gives the defender a huge advantage of being able to use 3 dice. Risk cards and continents are gone, which however, is not a bad change, since you can now purely focus on conquering and holding the highest number of countries. The graphics and sounds are nice and the gameplay controls are also quite good. But the battle system needs to be rethought in my opinion: First, the defender should not have such a great advantage and attacking with a huge army should therefore pay off. In Risk, it may happen that 10 attacking troops lose against 3, but that's quite rare. In this game this happens more often. Also, the number of troops one can advance to the last country should be freely determinable and not just be determined by the number of troops used on the very last attack. There are also a few bugs, one of them on the Europe map: I can move from Finland to Moscow-Russia but not vice versa.
Otherwise, a solid game. 4/5
