Yeah great HoM&M based game, just the feature you forgot to copy from HoMM is every month there are some creatures spawned on the map. Lack of this feature basically kills this game. Still 4/5 from me, I was growing up on heroes of might and magic series, that game is very sentimental to me and this is a quite nice game based on ideas from classic HoMM series
Ugh, I finally managed to beat it, last boss with 8 best shield, 2 harvest, 8 satellite things (+25% dmg), 5 regen modules, the rest weapons, mainly fast shooting guns, few rockets. Harvesters are for picking up fuel to make it to the boss with only 1 fuel module. Note that when you lose one level 3 times, you get more modules to buy available on particular level. It means if you want more regen modules, you need to lose a level where this module is available to buy. Sadly last lvl doesn't have regen to buy. Nice game, interesting concept, 5\5 and hoping for sequel :)
Dunno what others think about it, but for me it would be nice option to switch from real-time days passing to manual, with 'end day' or 'advance 3 days' button. Sometimes I'd like to think for a bit what to upgrade, what to do with my remaining days before league match, to attack town, to do quest, to recruit or spend money on upgrade, without having to click like crazy.
Like many others, I really loved the first one, and sequel is a nice improvement. 5/5
Guys watch the walkthrough! It's real fun. Game creator playing his own game with witty commentary. Soo funny :D. I guess funnier than playing this by yourself :P
When I started caes cix campaign I felt they're kinda underpowered with no powerful ships with 8+ dmg except queen, but later the deck worked extremely well with overseer/leviathan/diamond praetor combo. Now I'm playng Rivi, got impression they're kinda like nazis, doing experiments on those poor caescix and all lol. I really enjoy the storyline.
omg my first run with assasin, a few upgrades, now lvl 122, 100 attack, 93012 cash, interestingly 7180 health, increasing tremendously with every arena or other event, i'm playing this run for like 3 hours.... and... uh sorry just let me die plz
I'm starting to get used to what when I see JuicyBeast as dev, I can expect a fun addictive game. This simple 3 per run achievement system gets the job done and makes me keep playin till all is done :D
Your princess is in another castle motherf.... HAHA once again immortal super mario's annoying mushroom. This ending almost made my fall off my chair :D
I lol'd at mrs critic, despite being the very last customer present that day, went breakfast buffet --> fine dining --> breakfast buffet --> fine dining loop like 6 times, then went weighlifting 'she usually loves and this was the same' then left! O_O
I like the genre a lot, I played shellshock, DDTank, Eggs online and a few others I can't remember. This one is really good and addictive. Just one complaint: some weapons are really too weak and you never see them in use in any battle other than "weapon testing". Basically, after like 2 hours playing, I find weapons like multi bounce mortar, regular mortar and jumping bomb completely useless, while heavy mortar is useful rarely. 4/5 but I really appreciate addictivity and some innovations in artillery genre.
Oh My Fcuking God. What a masterpiece. Reminds me my teenage times when I was playing a game called UFO enemy unknown or something like that, on PC without windows, launched on DOS, with like 100 MHz and 16 MB RAM :D. Good memories :D. I do wonder why there are not many turn based tactics games like this one. I absolutely love these. One more great game that reminds me this one is Jagged Alliance. Do I have to say... 5/5 from me :D
Day 25 is impossible for me to pass, tried rocket launcher and minigun :(. Too many enemies spawn at once. On earlier levels with better gun you are able to kill them fast enough not to cause lag. Well I guess my PC isn't good enough for this game :(. Pity, it's really good game.
Really nice game, but there's one really big problem mentioned before.
Everything was quite fine for me until day 17. Now on lowest graphic settings, with more enemies on screen at once, lag doesn't allow me to play and not die. I got laptop 1,9 GHz athlon dual, 1,75 GB RAM and not so bad graphics as for laptop.
There must be some way to optimize the code to aviod this lag. I programmed in C++ and C#, a little PHP, javascript, dunno how it is in flash. But... you could try to do something with this. In other games of this kind, with even better graphics, I didn't encounter such lag problem. Still good game, 4/5 from me.
You can barely hear them! It's true!
