Hey I wanted you to know I bought your game on Steam. It was fairly priced and I have no regrets. Thanks for uploading it for free on kongs portal though, I know others will appreciate that, and hey, if I hadn't poked at it here first, I would never have bought it!
For any achievement hunters trying to run through this game: You only get healed if you don't run away from a fight. So if you run away from your first fight after visiting a town, you won't get the healing, and will continue on injured. You can even begin at negative HP if you run away directly after resuming from a game over.
Attack, then retreat.
I'm not really digging this. It's a perfect example of wat the word "pretentious" means when used in a derogatory answer. I don't like when games attempt to be deep, yet clearly fail to deliver on the aspect of deepiness at all.
When the obstacle for a badge in a puzzle game is pure luck (100% clear does not equate 500 points always) I consider there to be a major flaw in the badge.
For anyone going for the hard badge: I would heavily suggest skipping it if you don't enjoy puzzle games. It takes about 5 hours to collect enough experience, making it a badge only for real achievement junkies, or those of us whom do genuinely enjoy a brainteaser.
The hard badge really has a rediculous amount of RNG to it. The game isn't possible to savescrum either, so it's beyond unfair. On my last attempt I lost 8 of my people in the first 2 days, even though there was only a 5% chance of failing any of their missions. That is just not a managable state of progress.
Oh boy! I was starting to think Virgil might never put a demo of number 3 out. I already purchased all the games, now time to beat kongs final instalment
Oh my dear god I need to look at what wave I anger more often. Having 29 giant monsters charge down the lane because you happened to gem-bomb that wave is an unpleasant surprise, to say the least
