It was refreshing to see my progress saved after six months of being offline. If I could only get those last two achievements, and thus the third. Eh, what the hell. I'll march on. Why not? The dev has personal problems, and needs some encouragement.
Being clicked onto a resource, it would be nice to see how much excess of previous resources are being made. I hate having to click onto each one. Guess I am just beginning, and yes, the arrows do tell you what you are missing, but I want direct numerical values. In the window. Would be nice.
That sounds like the game loop stopped, do a manual save and refresh (also if there's any errors in the console, can help me find out why the game loop stopped)
Why did I ever make a rogue, and get attentiveness up? Every map he finds is completely IMPOSSIBLE. Because increased quality means INCREASED DIFFICULTY. Why would it be like that? That is f*cking stupid.
Clearing a dungeon. Fail on boss 5 times. Making good progress. Only a few more times would do it. At floor 5, gorgon appears. 12 attempts, rotating through adventurers. Finally kill gorgon. No reward. More health, higher stats, than boss of dungeon. No reward.
The boss should always give a reward. I'm making a change however to wandering monsters so only the first two difficulties of monsters can appear as wandering monsters. That should make it easier in the long run (no gorgons, but you might still have a bugbear in the way...)
Experimentation material costs increased times ten in the past update. In a zero sum game. Chance (2%) hasn't increased. The stakes have. Please give us a justification.
Did they? Haven't touched the item stats at all, and chance should be the same (18% for cobalt up to 50% for copper). If you're talking about the Mythril and Cobalt items, the experiment costs have been rather high since the start, in order to encourage getting the parts from dungeons. (Looking at the ItemData.xml now, and don't see any changes) If there were any actual changes, that's a bug -- please give me the item name and I'll look it up in the xml
I just figured it out. Reload your save until you get it the first time you click the button. Since doing it any other way results in you wasting a massive amount of resources for absolutely nothing.
I intended for research to be an alternative mainly for earlier parts, although usable for more advanced parts. That being said, the chance of failing 10 times in a row on 20% is 10.7% -- low, but still half the chance you get it on the first attempt. That being said, after I finish with adventurer skills I may add some upgrades for experimentation to increase the success rate (perhaps an upgrade to modify the chance to what you'd get on two to three experiments...)
20% chance to learn recipe. 10 attempts. 100k mithril gone. 500k research gone. Didn't learn the recipe. Are you sure it is 20% for experimentation? Seems more like 2%.
Great progress creator. Every single day you either add more content (most days you do), or you fix bugs, and add UI details. Don't get yourself down. And don't let the people saying what the game 'should have' get you down. Create a game you are proud of making. Give us your image, and the community will respond.
My healer's healing ability damages her and doesn't heal the other party member. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn't. I'm using Warrior, Healer, Archer. Had the same issue when I had a paladin instead of a warrior, though.
I think the Skillbook: Multiple Shots can proc off of itself; with seven or more of them on each ranger, they pwn the two extra bosses in Dawn Fortress Throne Room.
I would like the ability to tell a heat exchanger to just take heat from the reactor and throw it into heat vents or a coolant cell, and to tell a heat exchanger to take heat from the modules around it and put that heat into the reactor. Using more than a few heat exchangers seems to make them massively inefficient and leads to heat building up higher and higher
