i dont know what you mean by your preloaders not working, they will always load sorta halfway through because it has to load all the content before it starts the program, including the preloader so you won't see it until it is almost halfway through loading. I read somewhere that to solve it you half two files, one with the preloader that redirects you to the game once it has finished saving (but im not sure how you do that :P)
im gonna be kinda mean and say i dont think much effort has gone into this. I say this because of the graphics (if you dont want hi-def graphics fine, but you don't have to have the ships being black boxes with a red ship, you don't normally notice until they overlap) also, no boundary, no change of gameover menu, no start menu, its just..lacking. Although, on the plus side, there's nothing bad with any of it. It's just that too many people have seen almost this exact game as a lot of people made a game based on the shootorials (i did too) and they're tired of seeing the same thing. PS sorry for this mammoth post and for being a bit harsh as I know it does take a LOT of time when your not used the software (mine took AGES to do as well, and the end result was crap).
nice game but too many menus, clicking and general fussing about, you should be able to just play, not have to go through the menu so many times because of a new unlocked thing, but still 4/5
