Very good concept, but it lacks style and depth. I can't give any game where I suicide out of boredom higher than a 2, sorry. If it could just be expanded a bit it has great potential.
If you reset your abilities, it should take you to the ability screen to start reworking them. I clicked the button a couple times because it didn't seem to do anything, and each click counted towards the 5-per-day limit.
This game can't be a 5, because:
# It lacks the depth of fighting that a game like Mardek does, with different elemental attacks. You can't tell when your "lightning piercing" attacks will be useful.
# It lacks something other than battles... no walking around, no puzzles.
Still worthy of a very solid 4.
The way I figure it, if you replaced the candidate heads with abstract heads, the game can't stand on it's own. Just boring and pretty much terrible. Also the music is so repetitive.
There's nothing wrong with this game, but it just feels like it's lacking something. I don't have any desire to play it again. The concept is a bit old so that doesn't help. Oh well. 3/5.
Should get a reward for wiping out a nation (all tiles of a color).
Would like a charge timer.
Actual gameplay is great, but the metagameplay could use some more depth. That is, the world map should matter more. As it is, it's just a pretty way of showing what is basically a list of battles.
Still gets a 5/5 from me. This game is worth 10,000 ThingThings, and ThingThing gets about a .01/5. So I wish I could give 100/5, but... you know.
Good game.
