Double post, but I feel this is too important for anyone who's struggling - The corruptor can only cast Dark Mirror once; casts it at the start of the battle and it only works on alive characters. This means you can purposely kill your party except the cleric, then revive your party back after the corruptor uses dark mirror and it becomes a 4v2.
There's a really dumb cash wall at the wolfram/gold level, where you need to buy the max tier cooling to go any deeper (which is past half way of the max depth which is a little silly).

Beat the game. Was relatively simple but lengthy. Tips: Levelling your dex is WAY better than attack. Make sure to level speed up to about 40 asap, it's one of the most important stats to level until it's high enough. Make sure to kill the sarcophagi as they drop rare items, especially the ones at level 15+ because they can drop resurrect ankhs (I had 3 at the end of the game but didn't use one). Also try to kill mummies and smash pots as they can give stat potions.
Honestly, I don't know why you would ever want finesse. The exp gain is so low it's useless, fitness is better in terms of damage (plus it gives you health) and it's so easy to move around with skills the movement speed is useless too.
So to beat the game, you have to vandalise an arcade by cutting the cord of a security camera and then take apart an arcade machine? That's questionable
The game took a really dark turn quickly. Was chilling out, then I gave a knife to an arm so it cut itself, then I grinded the hand up into dog food, fed it to a dog and then picked up the poop.
Amazing game - good graphics, tons of features, and unique gameplay as well. Only reason why it loses a star from me is because it's still another idle game, and there's way too many around. Still, an idle game has to be quite outstanding for me to enjoy it.

It's not toxic if it makes good stuff. If you don't think it's good, maybe play something else?
