Q, I'm going to go away for summer to a place without internet after tommorrow and won't play for a few months. Can you lock my character so I can't be assassinated? And, if possible can I not lose my relic?
Unfortunately I cannot make exceptions for the relic thing as the intent is to re-release relics to the public... but token activity such as playing on a bill a couple times/month will stop it from triggering. So you can probably do that to keep your relic. As for a lock mode where you're safe for a while... I'm not sure how I would balance that exactly.
I'm trying to "declare" a treaty with Iran. I have the clout, max energy, we have abysmal relations. But, for some reason it says it's an invalid selection. What am I missing?
Does the CS loss scale with "how red" a stat is? For example does -10% happiness correspond to the same loss as -90% happiness? If it does it probably shouldn't - right? I feel like it would be kind of wrong if we could just keep dropping happiness to raise all the other stats and never get penalized.
What more do we need to do to get Japan to declare war on us? We give them no aid and charge them triple the base taxes. Or do we have to do something special like an embargo? Also - on a completely unrelated note - if i have a scandal I discovered on someone but don't release it can someone else discover it and use it?
uh yeah, that's kind of the point of embargo. You might even have to increase defense spending on top of that. Doesn't that especially make sense with Japan? (go read about the events leading up to Pearl Harbor)
Realistically that should have been a lot harder, and I'll be editing it back. The overrun from the military aid overkill was still hitting relations when it shouldn't have. I'm pretty sure I didn't even add a paper thing for that because it should be nearly impossible. There will be one now should it ever happen again... but it probably won't.
Also, could you change the way people in the right time zones can steal everyone else's money 2 minutes after salaries are paid. I think it would make sense if you only got your salaries when you log on to clout and maybe press a button. Because you don't get your salaries sent automatically in your bank account - you have to actively cash a check someone gives you. I think it's annoying and difficult to get my salaries stolen week after week.
Why does it say (on the binaries page) the last win bill was by moses and got up to 67%? Maybe I remember incorrectly, but I thought Cersei played a green one after moses did. Also, i thought Moses's bill collapsed after it briefly climaxed at a little past 900,000. Or, does this have some other type of meaning.
Well, it's a quick way to end all aid to the country (though at the cost of ending all trade as well). It also significantly decreases relations with the target country, almost assuredly bringing it into range of eligibility for war.
I know taxes don't exist in this game, but in the real world using offshore accounts is a crime for tax evasion (punishable by multiple years in prison). Shouldn't using them in the game be scandalous too.
my liberal constituents object to me accepting a campaign contribution for decrerase protecting restrictions, but in the introduce bills page it is there. Why do I lose CS for this
If I recall, I purposefully made it so you'll lose CSP for contributions from non-party bills. It may be somewhat less restrictive than that, but I can't remember. I'll check into it to make sure.
Actually, to add on to balony's comment can you make it possible to slowly change traits. Maybe add a maximum of 1 every month (and take 1 away to to keep it balanced). Because people change over time. I would like to change a few of my traits.
Most traits in the game represent something permanent/something about your character's past. They aren't something that's just going to change over time.
