Massive bugs while playing include having my "distance remaining" switch to NaN, having no choices appear in travel encounters, leading to a freeze, and having my health simply start absurdly low in a combat for no reason leading to death. You can kinda play through the bugs because of the autosave, but it's frustrating and ruins what could have been a pretty good game.
Takes way too long to unlock new guns. Played through all the campaigns, got all the available challenges, and couldn't be bothered to fire a pistol 2000 times in freeform just to get one more gun to play with.
This game is a step back from Nanowars and other similar games. The towers are a nice concept, but are so poorly executed that they're worse than useless, and the controls are incredibly poor, making playing through levels far more hassle than they're worth.
The Queen levels were a nice touch, though.
Overall, an okay example of the genre but the unique elements were more than outweighed by poor execution. 2/5
Game updates indicate that the battle speed was sped up... Hard to believe, since it feels like it's moving at a snail's pace as it is. Needs to be waaaaaaaaay faster-paced.
Pretty crappy game. There's been plenty of better versions of this. The difficulty curve is nonexistent, and there's nothing left to build after level 3. It had some promise, but it was not fulfilled.
There's the kernel of a great game here, but it wasn't quite realized... Both the puzzle aspect and the TD aspect just felt a little shallow. I agree with other posters -- adding bonuses for 4 & 5 of a kind or for accomplishing longer combos would be nice, and perhaps that would give you some room to get more out of the TD as well?
Energy flow needs to be more constant. Perhaps some sort of storage mechanisms should be in place... because it's really annoying to have 999 energy every time it comes in, and have everything shut down because there's too much drain on the system before the next energy tick.
