As a DotD player for over 4 years, I have to say that lately, this game has been going downhill. The developers no longer play the game and do not really understand how new updates impact the game. There are too many unneeded additions that are not worth the time and effort that it would take to acquire them. It seems like, in the near future, DotD will go the same way as Clash of the Dragons and Legacy of a Thousand Suns, 5PG's other online games and die.
I keep having to reload the game due to not being able to adjust the monster level. It seems to be a problem with treasure boxes and I'm not able to adjust it even after the box popup disappears.
The Flying Dutchman was a disappointment. It has barely any health and it dies extremely quickly. After chasing it around the world for the better part of the year, I expected something harder and more boss-mode.
Impossible Badge: 15 Levels Beaten without Getting Hit.
I try all of the other projectiles, he starts on pulse fire with laser, V's with acid and missiles. Starts with Pulse for the first time. Anticipates V's so i stay close to him....OMFG MISSILES.
There's just way too much lag for me to actually tactically counter any of the AI's moves. I drag a box over the units to select all of them and the game lags. Even when i select a spell, the game lags and half the time i misplace the spell. It's a great game but the lag makes it unattractive.
Theoretically, all you need to survive survival mode is a constant carpet bombing of drones. Theoretically, this is possible. Factually, i am too lazy to bother with the timing needed for that.
the ending is very similiar to the movie Dawn of the Dead. They secure a boat and then start to run out of supplies and encounter zombies. it's kind of dumb though; how he still took her even though she was infected.
@masmarza
the money gains and stacks as you gain money. it it has 4 tiers of money, the brown(1st tier), the silver(2nd tier), the gold(3rd tier), and the blue(4th tier). as the tiers go up, it becomes more valuable.
one silver is worth 100 brown. one gold is worth 100 silver or 10000 brown. as you reach 100 on a certain money, the money gets converted to the next tier.
hope this helps and is not too confusing.
another thing is that i had a 90% chance to become a mature metal path when i reloaded the auto save and it turns me into a mature beast path. is this just the RNG be screwy or are the percentages not corrrect?
i beat the game with a mature metal path and no upgrades. it was a bit too easy if you ask me. i was dissapointed when i found that i couldnt keep playing after i beat the game. you should put in an option that allows you to continue playing after the ending so player can have even more fun
