This game is intentionally designed to have the ranges set at close at the start. It's not going to change. Many of the "far" attacks cost over 50 energy but are really strong. You are supposed to have to work a little to have a chance to get these attacks off. Starting out with 100 energy at a far range would cause a huge problem with the way the game's characters and attacks are designed. There are only a few close range attacks that cost over 50 energy (Eviscerate, Touch of Doom, Vamp Touch) but these are rare and each of the characters pertaining to these attacks have really low physical armor.
There needs to be a message in the match chat "Mario has left the chat". Right now there's no way to tell whether they left the chat. You could be talking to no one when you're trying to discuss some things after the battle. I'm never too sure if some people get my "GG"s or not.
It might be too much work, but I'll throw this out there. It occurred to me when I tried to host a game to look at my W/L ratio and found I could no longer do that unless someone joins. Since there's no other way of viewing your stats and for the pleasure of having additional info I think it would be really cool to have a "log" in the game at the main menu. You click it and it shows you your W:L ratio, rank, and what would be really cool is a match history. It wouldn't necessarily have to be EVERY match you've ever played. Maybe even the last 10 or so matches would be fine. All they would really need to show is the opponents name, their rank perhaps, and whether you won or lost.
If not that then I suggest implementing at least some sort of alternative way to view your stats other than hosting a game. That's a bit annoying for both the hosting person and the one thinking it's a real game to join.
Yes Cmurda, Go to "Multiplayer", "Browse Games", then click "Host Game". From there you can chose a 3 or 5 card game. It won't put you in someone else's game.
I think it would be nice to have in the highscores tab some sort of Win:Loss ratio much like the ones andrew gave in an earlier comment. Of course there would have to be restrictions such as maybe having to had played X amount of games. 30 seems solid. If anything more than that. If one could place on that table by playing only a few games it would be way too easy to top the charts. The top 50 would be flooded with 1:0 ratios. The higher you go in amount of games played the more accurate the numbers turn out.
I just played a LONG match against someone who went AFK. There needs to be something that senses whether or not a player has clicked a button in the last X amount of games. When that amount is up, then the player having to wait through all that crap has a choice to declare victory.
Woohoo! First try and I get the all-time high score! This game makes me feel like doing a jig. Thanks for the joy you've given me. In return you get a 5 star rating. Now I'll wait another hour or two to see my score wiped off the all-time list.
The flaming guitar when you get over a x5 was great. When I used to SG for the first time.. those stick dudes flying everywhere scared me off. Too bad tho, i wanted to use the SG since it's the one i own. Great game 5/5
I love the deck editor upgrade.. It takes away much of the luck and makes it so much funner. I am having a problem though. One of the cards called "attack" doesnt add to your deck card total. If i put 5 of them in my deck, it would read that i only have 70, whereas i would actually have 75.
