Having prestige upgrades that cost different amounts/are more helpful is also a good way to leave people wanting to play to get to that next step. Where the game is at now I don't really feel a reason to keep pushing because its only going to get me exactly where I'm already at. I normally don't leave lengthy comments or as many as I did for you, but like somebody else said... This feels like a really good game in the making, that just wasn't fleshed out enough! I enjoy your game very much and hope you put out at least a couple decent updates. I'll be checking up on it over the next couple weeks to see where it goes, and wish you the best of luck in future games you might make.
Where it is at now is extremely linear... look for items until you feel you aren't increasing exp bonus fast and reset to get a higher prestige exp. Being able to spend prestige points on different outcomes that have similar benefits but different paths is a good way to give replayability. Every time I've done a reset it's just felt like I'm playing the exact same level but marginally quicker. Having the option to branch out to different trees helps users to look forward to resetting the next time to increase something they haven't done before or are falling behind in. It also allows people who enjoy min-maxing to do a little bit of thinking (big shout-out to you guys who do half my idle game work) about what way is the most efficient to spend points and what to work for to complete the game as quick as possible.
You hit a lot of the key aspects of a good idle game, however some things don't feel implemented correctly. The most important part of this is the prestige. The fairness feels okay to me that 1% of my experience is turned into prestige points which is a 1% increase... However, this doesn't fundamentally change the game in any way. A couple quick examples of how this could be better would be to turn prestige points into something you could spend, where 1 prestige point directly increases exp by 1% like you have, but also more upgrades such as a % increase to speed of item finding, chance of haunted item, as well as a % increase to exp:prestige ratio
well my game had been saving and loading just fine but now with this new update something happened and my file has been lost. :( I might come back and play again if something big changes but Im just a little disappointed to start over now. Thank you for creating a fun game though and I hope you make improvements to this or another game of equal quality <3
Critical hit power is way better than it seems from the way its worded. Not sure if unintended but the talent "The Power of the Drill" says "Increases critical effect power by 10%. Total Bonus 140%." but my miners show a x141.5 multiplier instead of a 2.1 multiplier.
You do not need any "required" items to get the full item. so you can just buy the banner of command without the tome/codex or for any other item as well
this is actually true for other items such as banner of command, I will check to see with an AD item whether or not you ever need to buy the prereqs or not
im not sure if its because i already had one, but i could buy a second fiendish codex without buying a second amplifying tome. I didnt try to build a fiendish codex off the bat so im not sure if the glitch comes when you go to buy the item every time or if it just looks for a check to see if you ever bought the tome in the first place. Also Critical damage seems to be glitches you always get double damage and it doesnt increase with the achievement
Its a little confusing, but the reason it seems that attack speed doesnt work is because the runes give a % increase to attack speed but you start at 0 so its not increasing anything at all. Items give base attack speed (like +3 Att. Speed) so you dont really need to buy those runes until you have billions of gold to get items
Just going to mention that there is even less reason to push for high arena levels when you get the majority of your gems from purchasing the buildings and might as well just reset when that slows down anyway
It is considerably cheaper to buy buildings in groups of 10 than it is to by them 1 at a time which almost has to be a bug with the difference in price.
The tooltip at the beginning says that citizens greatly increase gold production but there is no real way to see how much they increase it (if at all) unless you count the skills from buildings
The skill point Battleborn - "Each Arena increases your DPS by x%" only works for the stage you are on and doesn't increase when hitting higher arenas. (Although the building skill that does the same for your gold does work correctly)
Certain army choices are considerably better than all the others leaving no reason to pick any but one. Especially considering fast runs are muuuuuch better.
The bonus for hitting wave 400 is 5 gems per new level when you already get ~400 for hitting wave 400
Thanks for comment! I'm already fixed that "x10 bug". Lots of things improved already, but currently I'm working on balancing. Please wait just a little bit :3
Update 3.7 - Fixed saving for WebGL, seems to be working for me. thanks!
