I think stopping to pick up the corpses is an important aspect of the game, setting it apart from every single other similar game. Perhaps just reducing your attack speed while doing it or making the corpses last longer. ^-^
Interesting, I did made the corpses last longer in few updates ago! thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you liked the fact that the player manually absorb the coprses, we think is a pretty cool feature that adds some tactic aspects to the game. :)
Only real complaint I had was clicking the tile I wanted. The isometric tilt is either too steep or the cursor needs to made to feel crisper. Hard to explain but loved everything else about it. I'd like to see a stronger incentive to go on multiple expeditions. Perhaps your team starts out very weak and you get stronger and keep gear across expeditions. Might have to tone down how much cash you get or what they cost but It would give it the replay value it's missing. 4/5
"NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" This occurred while fighting an easy raid. A swarm of guys were all near me and I spammed my Q, Space, and E all at once. Not sure what set it off.
This game would be a great section for a larger game. Let's say your ultimate goal was a king managing a kingdom. You could have this as your 'gathering lumber' part, make similar, but with different tweaks, ways to get food, ore etc. Then just have it culminate in juggling all these different games working toward an endgame goal :D
Quick typo I saw. In city hall I was just starting out, and read "You're begginer." It could be changed to "You're a beginner". Fun little game so far.
I found a typo on the "Elixer of Heroes" quest log. It says "Objetive: Find the Magician or Urnebbar and ask him to brew the Elixer of Heroes". The first word is the typo fyi ;)
Excellent idea. First game i've seen on here that uses the webcam. The paddle doesn't really respond well to 'movement' though. Needs some work. 3/5 for creativity.
This might be okay as a mini game to a larger game, but by itself, it lacks a reason to keep playing it. 3/5 Everything worked like it was supposed to and it wasn't buggy
Game looks great and I see a LOT of potential for it. Some tips to make it less frustrating:
When I restart a level and get the instruction screen, if I 'click' to start the level it automatically shoots a cannonball.
Every time I try to restart a level, it makes that loud banging noise :/
and lastly, the only way to select something from the menu is the Enter key, the enter on my numpad doesn't work either. Maybe add that?
Awesome job on the game!
"error 404, We can't find the page you're looking for. Check out our Help Center and forums for help, or head back to home." Looks like it can't find whatever you are telling it to
I can't say enough nice things about this game. But if you're considering a sequel, try to find a way to make the game feel more randomized on additional runs. Maybe small mini quests that sometimes appear in certain areas? 5/5
I'm sick of every game being jammed stuffed with upgrades, skill trees etc...But with that said, this is the first game by jmtb that I didn't love. It doesn't even feel like a full game, just one aspect of something bigger. There just isn't anything to it.
